What is this new cave?

Rumors spread through the realm about a new cave that had sprung up in the Britian area. Since I already had a deathrobe on from my last excursion, I decided I would go check it out.

Britian was swarming with people, which was unusual. But I quickly found what the commotion was about...

I held my breath and jumped in the moongate, only to find myself inside a room with three red alters. Death robes and healers were all standing around. A few of them said, not to go down into the next level, but like I was going to listen to them right?

Down the first alter....nothing. A big empty room with some funny colored crystals in it.

So I gave alter number 2 a try. A strange looking bridge, but across it nothing. There must have been a creature here before though, because many dead pets were laying about.

And down the magical third one I went. This is what I found....

Mrendrong, the incredibly angry dragon had 75% of his foes poisoned. I ran back away from him, but he still instantly got me. I barely made it back through the teleporter when I died.

The poor healers up top has no idea what was going on and kept asking "What's down there?" I just told her not to go down there, and decided to leave.

It's rumored that there were other creatures there just as powerful, but the Napa residents had already taken them down. I wonder what will happen once they will Mrendrong?

It would be wonderful if EA would look into the grief factors in play with this new dungeon and learn from this event. I know it's been reported on Stratics on several different shards and it's happening on Catskills right now. There is a guild parked by the teleporter that will not let anyone kill the boss except their own guildmembers. They have made it perfectly clear that if anyone else tries to kill it, they will summon pets to bring the boss back up to full health

Being that this is in Trammel, what course of action can we take against guilds like this?

That's truely horrible!

Last night on Napa, I did see many, many W@R members. But luckily I saw no threats being made, and there were other players there all fighting together.
Most were warning each other not to bring pets and about the poison...

It's sad to hear that on Cats and other shards people can be such jerks. I hope Napa doesn't turn into that...

And on a side note... why in GODS name is there an event at 8am on Catskills on a weekday?

On origin, this was an enjoyable event. Gave us an opportunity to kill Riktor, a paragon Riktor, and A super charged orc brute (Forgot it's name). Tons of gold and ml artys. We weren't plagued by griefers who kept healing the bosses. I hope it is as enjoyable for everyone else.

No matter what we'll always have those that will try to find a way to grief others. It's a shame that they can't see that what they consider fun is really harrasing others.
