Partnership for Prescription Assistance (1-888-4PPA-NOW) offers access to more than 475 public and private patient assistance programs, including more than 180 drug company programs.

RxAssist (401-729-3284) offers access to drug company programs.

Rx Outreach (1-800-769-3880) directly offers generic drugs at a reduced price.

Also, local chapters of the Red Cross may be able to help, or help you find what you need. If you have a Caritas around, they can help with meds, bills, and other things too. Goodwill (an office, not a store) can help, and so can the Samaritans.

I don't have insurance, and have to pay for 4 different meds.... the cheapest of which is about $70 a month. There have been a couple of times I have had to go without meds cause I was broke. Blah, I try to avoid that now if at all possible. My illness isn't life threatening directly, but I can do some darned stupid things when I get off my meds. Actually, you would be able to tell in here even.... if I quit making much sense remind me to take my meds lol. Well... less sense than I usually make anyway!

Everyone is allowed to vent. Sometimes you just need to blow off steam, and it is good that you feel good enough about these forums to be able to do so.

alot of these people on this forums and i thought the other forum i thought was family i gu7ess some wont know tell they have somethin g tragically happen to them then who will get a laf from it , no one becasuse we are family i hope .
