188th Assembly of the 6th High Council

Prior to the meeting in discussion amongst those present there was some confusion about where PUU should be standing. PUU was standing where he has always stood. Others were of the opinion that his proper place was one square back. There was some discussion about which Guard PUU belonged to, the answer to which could not be determined. It was known that the standing guard at this time is the High Guard.

Lord Caelian was welcomed back after his extended absence. Others wondered about the latest status of the Ophidian invasion. Some reported having been at the final battle and expressed concern over the large amount of blackrock the Ophidians had in their possession as the official meeting began.


Lord Buzz Aldridge Called the 188th Assembly of the 6th High Council to Order at 9pm CST on Monday, August 28th in the year 2006.

The first item on the Agenda for the evening was an update concerning the replacement of the Councilors for Chaos and for Maginicia. Lord Buzz Aldridge reported that the election was very well contested, and he announced that the new Chaos representative is Lord Deleaduindill. Lord Deleaduindill explained that he will dedicate all his efforts to the office which he has been appointed, and be available to the public as the needs of the office dictate.
The candidate for the 4th seat of Maginicia has not yet been decided upon, and an announcement of the new councilor is expected at the next meeting.


This concluded the official agenda for the evening. Lord Buzz Aldridge then asked for any additional items from the councilors.

Lady Wysteria notified the assembly that her adjutant has been called away from his job, so she is in the process of seeking out a replacement. If anyone is interested in the position Lady Wysteria can be contacted by pigeon at (5965283).

After some discussion of relish amongst councilors, Lord Deleaduindill asked to speak to the assembly. Lord Deleaduindill indicated that the first official duty as the holder of the Chaos seat would be to re-establish the Chaos Guard as they have been known in the past. The duties and responsibilities will realize what Lord Blackthorn sought to establish. Applicants to the rejuvenated Chaos Guard may contact Lord Deleaduindill.

Items for discussion were then opened up to the assembly of citizens present.

Lord Galen recognized Lady Airmid and Lady Athena for their efforts in clearing out lands of the Ophidians. Many losses resulted in the battle, including Bernadyne Snyder, Curator of the Vesper Museum. Thanks and appreciation were offered by members of the High Council and the public.

The next speaker was Caelian, who had returned to the lands after a long absence. He indicated that it had been brought to his attention that the Grand Army should be brought back. Caelian asked for input on this idea from members of the Council. Caelian had been asked by Jackson to return. Lord Singlarad raised the question of how the nation could support what amounts to two armies? Lady Joylah questioned where he had been during his absence, and who took his place while he was gone. Lord Singlarad also wanted to know if the Army would be under the control of the High Council.

Caelian replied that he wished to return the army to it's former capacity and then some and indicated that it would run under the same charter as before with a few revisions. He assured Council members that he will answer to the Minister of Securities as he did in the past.

Lord Buzz Aldridge suggested that a meeting be held between Caelian, Joe, and Singlarad to discuss the fine points of Caelian's proposal. Other Councilors were supportive of Caelian given revisions to current charter were presented and accepted. Further discussion will continue in a committee as suggested above. Council members want assurance that Caelian will not go forward on his own initiative, but will work with the Council to form the army and bring it to action.

Next to speak was Lord Joe of the High Guard. He spoke of a wish to receive greater support for the High Guard during these times when greater armed forces are needed. Lord Joe also announced that Lord Jackson has been arrested and charged with several crimes for being outside the realm. More specific information was not available at this time. It was also reported that no further information had appeared in the search for Lady Phoebe.

Lady Joylah wished to know who had Jackson, why and what is happening. Adriana reported that LotR, Blackmoon's group has him. Joe indicated that more information was being assembled. Jackson was last seen in Zento and was arrested in Umbra.

Thus closed the 188th Session of the 6th High Council.
