The citizens of Skara Brae gathered in the Haven Mansion last night to develop plans for their attack on the Ophidians that had overrun their city. Everyone worked together to divide up the people there into effective groups for battle. Guild alignment and personal preference were put aside for the benefit of all.

Three groups were formed each one containing:

2-3 Warriors to attack the Ophidians directly
1 Archer to attack from a distance
1 Tamer to peace and attack with Rune Beetle, White Wyrm or Dragon
1 Necromancer to raise Ophidian dead into Lich Lords
3 Mage Healers to heal the group especially the Warriors, to resurect the dead when needed, and to attack with spells when possible.

As citizens gated into Skara Brae all groups mixed into one fighting horde running to take back their city. It was agreed that for future battles each group should wear brightly colored robes so groups could stick together and organize planned attacks. Even without robes citizens organized themselves according to skills and successfully slayed groups of ophidians at a time.


One group attempted to get the guards to do the work they were payed for, but all they would do is scream, approach the pack, and then stand there. Truly a worthless lot. Someone should bring some discipline to the ranks, but a higher ranking officer seems to be unavailable.

The citizens successfully pushed the ophidians out of the city and some regrouped at the moongate only to find --- MORE OPHIDIANS --- in a horde attacking in a frenzy. Many, including myself were too battle worn for another round, but others remained and fought on through the night.
