After going to the 8:30 CST New/Vet Players Hunt I decided to take these few moments for some notes I have taken.


The Hunt Of A Life Time!

Well the eve started fresh on the Lake Superior world of Ultima Online! Many fellow Lake Superians prowling about.

It was time for me to head on into Skara Brae for the great "Advanced Players Hunt."

Aye, I myself wondered what type of hunt would come about, but I had no idea. Meanwhile back at the meet, We had a few things going on.
While waiting for the rest of the community to arrive we decided to tell some jokes.

We then right before our eyes were standing next to Airmid the leading lady of the event. She beautiful in all her fancy clothes, while I lurked with these dreaded new player rags people call clothes.

We then began to see more people arriving, so we decided to get more serious. As we began the event, many things were spoken about.

"Due to the new expansion (UOML) we are a small group here today, but will proceed with today's meeting." Says Lady Airmind

After many things were discussed including the new expansion, and any questions about it, we hear a thunder of terror.

*BOOOM*

Next thing you know we see the Lord Galen of WoR. After being greeted and well respected by all of us at the meeting, he then proceeds to his spot on the alter. But when he approaches he sees someone else at his spot......

Big Mistake!

Galen making it clear that HE called these people to the meeting that night. That he would be the one to make decisions!
After he discussed the terror that is going on in the lands, he proceeded to open a few portals to the new land where we will be fighting many many fearless and cold blooded creatures.

I was quite dissapointed that I myself wouldnt be able to give the boss of these creature a taste of its own medicine due to not having a built character up and running on Lake Superior yet. But I did know, that we could and would do anything in our power to destroy all evil around us.
Things went well at first, especially with the easy spawn, but then things started to dreadfully change. As the spawn upgraded its creatures, the communit center's members began to slowly die. Most of them Noxxed with deadly infectious poison.

It was sad to see things go that bad that quick. But we all met up and ressurected eachother to perfection, and went back in.
After a few times going in and out.. We had come across a new way of destroying these creatures.. Send them back what they sent us.
What do I mean?!?!?! Thats right, the poison. We must send back the poison. They infect us with this deadly poison, when all we had to do is do it right back!

What good is a champion spawn hunt.. without a Noxxor.

After a few more minutes maybe half an hour. Things started getting ship shape again as we got used to the creatures attacking patterns. But then again, we were getting up and up closer to being at the last skull, close close to the champ.

As we hit the new level, Hiryu's and Omi's started coming about. Omi's using their long ranged magical forces killing many of us instantly. Hiryu's with their intense speed and massive damage, dismounting us and killing our stamina. unfortunately, I do not have any sort of picture due to I was dead, and I certainly do not like Black and White pictures for games.
But, as we finished the last level..........

After many attempts to doge his Poison Blow's (Long Range Poison Blasts) We couldnt find a way to do this, that is when Archers began coming into the picture.

Before we knew it, the champ was dead.. and everyone had the scrolls out of the area before the spawn killed them and left their scrolls all alone on their dead corpse.

Well, to Lake Superior Well done. We defeated the evil TOGETHER! Until next week!

I must get some rest, I am bloody tired.

Thank you for a wonderful news report Cobra. It was great to meet you tonight. One slight edit if I may? Weds nights are new/vet player nights and we were glad to welcome 3 newcomers to LS..including you!
We cut this evenings new/vet player a tad short to accomodate Galens request for assistance with Michael. At that it was a good idea considering the expansion has the attention of many...including adventuresome young players. We took some time to answer some ML questions before our adventure.
It's great to see you bringing to life for others what we have been enjoying for months now and I cant wait to introduce you to tomorrows ML dungeon crawl with L.@E for our real Advanced Players Hunt. Should make for an exciting night!
