The Monsterous Interred Grizzle!
<table border=0 width=100%>
<tr> <td align="right" valign="top"<a href='http://www.uoforums.com/vbimghost.php?do=displayimg&imgid=381' border=0><img src='http://www.uoforums.com/imagehosting/thum_6330449ae6350e501.jpg'></a></td> <td align="left" valign="top" This weeks Community Peerless Hunt Night ventured off to Bedlam. A large crowed gathered for the hunt. About half of the Lords Ladies and Citizens gathered had never seen the doors of Bedlam in their lives, but were eager to dive to their deaths. While initiates gathered pixie legs, kirin ribs and unicorn brains for the evening's quest, experienced Bedlam hunters went ahead to meet the undead. The Bedlam dungeon is located in the south east corner in city of Umbra in the lands of Malas. The entrance to Bedlam is found in the Bloodletter's Guild, more commonly known as "the healers". To enter the dungeon you click on the pincer shaped 'statue' in the west corner of the Bloodletter's room. It is a good idea to hide before clicking. After you click you fall through the floor into the dungeon you will meet your death amongst the undead horde. There are no end of undead spawn in Bedlam against which the warriors mages and tamers of our party tested their skills. Especially nasty are the named skeletons which are boss spawn. There are other walking undead the likes of which I had never seen before. Much of staying alive depended on where one placed oneself. I have not yet learned where those places are. Eventually after heroic efforts and massive death amongst man woman and beast, the undead were slain and moved no more. It was time to regroup and prepare for the ultimate battle.</td> </tr> </table> <table border="0" width="100%"> <tr> <td align="left" valign="top">The dungeon exit is an iron gate in the SW corner of dungeon that pops you back up to the Bloodletter's room to be healed. After stowing away any loot in the Umbra bank, counting our numbers and locating our lost ghost (me), we clicked the metal pincers and quickly climbed the nearby stairs to meet the Monstrous Interred Grizzle. We found that poisoning was his weakness after what seemed like hours of enduring infernal ooze and massive flames. The thickness of air pulsed with paralyzing energy as every one available exerted their efforts beyond the point of breaking. By keeping him poisoned he was unable to heal. Gradually the spells and melee of beast and humankind extinguished the life of the Monstrous Interred Grizzle and the loot was ours. If you ever have difficulty reaching the loot on a Peerless monster simply use the control/shift keys together and all peoples and monster's names will show. Then you can target the monster and access the loot!! There is no doubt that things would not have run as smoothly with Airmid and Taeara Mi'aken to host and guide us along the way. Many thanks for an excellent evening of dangerous thrilling hunting and great loot! All were exhausted after the long Peerless Hunt but agreed that the event was a great success, especially with so many players new to the dungeon.</td> </tr> </table> |
