![]() | How is Lake Superior? After finding out that my good friend (irl) is playing on this shard I'm considering moving here. I was just wondering what the Lake Superior community was like for the most part. I'm pretty well established on my home shard which is why I'm hesitant to move here. I did attend one of those community meet ups or whatever you call them at skara brae community center and those seemed fun but other than that haven't had much time to explore LS. |

I may be a little partial, considering I have all my characters on LS, and have never been anywhere else, but for myself, the LS community has been very helpful. Many are willing to help, and there are usually hunts gathering in New Haven each night. The community hunts are fun, and people seem to be very interactive in the towns as well. Hope this helps, and if you decide to come over, welcome to Lake Superior! ![]() ![]() ![]() Lord L'arr Hamerfeld |

And it has been around for quite sometime. There is an active pvp scene, if that is what you want. Sounds to me like you have played for sometime, Well why not make a new character over on LS and give it a go? Other than building a decent suit, I have found making a new character on a new shard from time to time is refreshing and fun. What do you have to lose? Take a few weeks to explore LS, then decide if you want to transfer your main characters over. UO is all about you having fun! Maybe our pathes will cross, if so give me a shout. I try to help new/returning/transferring players. ![]() Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment |

![]() | Re: How is Lake Superior? I just like to kick back and do whatever seems like fun. I occasionally pvp I just don't like getting into all the leet talk and personal attacks that seems to happen on atlantic which is why I usually just go to fire or despise and get my fill then leave. As far as champ spawns I don't need any scrolls anymore. Making a new character does sound fun, I haven't started a new character in a while. Guess I'm off to loot public corpse for LRC armor!! Thanks all and nice to meet you! |

Yes, the armor sucks that you get from the quests, but its free and it is blessed. Really saves you on insurance when you are training a completely new character. And welcome to LS ![]() Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment |

I too have traveled to most other shards for a brief period to meet new ones and try different skills. I have found each shard to be helpful in their own way and it's what we strive to do on LS. I look forward to seeing you on LS and there are homes set up to get you started. Try Reepacheap's house directly behind the Skara Brae community center to start. Please add me to your icq if you use it: 192992868. You know of the meet ups in Skara but also in New Haven. If you want some pvp action I can introduce you to good quality non griefer type players. I would love to meet you on your home shard as well sometime! Hugs, Airmid ![]() Last edited by Airmid; 27th May 2008 at 11:55 AM.. |

![]() | Re: How is Lake Superior? Im brand new to the shard AND the game and I picked LS, not sure why but I can tell you the community has been nothing but helpful to me. Still without a guild though I love it there. |
