I see people all the time with frostwood for sale, does it even spawn anymore? I have been LJ'n for about 5 days straight, and have yet to find Frostwood. Is there a runebook stashed somewhere? are people giving their frostwood locations out? Or is everyone still holding tight to their spots? the Library of Exploration's frostwood spots aren't good anymore.. and for the life of me, i cannot find a single tree I got all the rest, bloodwood, heartwood, and yew, but alas no frostwood. If anyone is willing to help me out, I would pay for a runebook for new and proven frostwood spawns.

With the random resources and making the higher end woods metals more rare. I don't think I'd trust any rune books out there at this point. Let me see if I can find some info for ya when I get home. Dialup at work sucks!

I'd love to hear about any spawns.. all I manage to get is oak and Ash. I have the proper skill points, unless I need a powerscroll of lumberjacking to get the rest..

it is totally random now. Your favorite tree can now spawn any/all colored woods, you just have to keep chopping.

Basically what it comes down too, is that if you are a "causal" player (my definition is someone who play less than 12 hours a week) you are screwed. If you decide to scrpit well you will eventually get some of the higher woods, cause you work nonstop, unattended. Although scripting is a violation of the rules. The only other options is to keep at it, you might get lucky. Or raise the gold needed to purchase these woods from luna vendors on your shard.

I did a fairly exhaustive test of the new changes before they went in, if you want I can send you summary of my findings. Or you can search here for threads, with the heading random resources, or something like that. was a fairly through discussion of the topic.
