While working on making some arrows this last Thursday evening I was startled when a ghostly form appeared in front of me. I reached for my axe and was prepared to strike when the form took more solid shape and became Lord British himself. He was still a sprit but it was almost as if he were real. I could feel him breathing on me.

He asked me to put away my weapon and sit down. I kept my axe with me and took a seat. He took a chair directly in front of me. To my surprise he did not fall thru the chair. I have never witnessed magic like this. A spirit yet corporeal enough to be somewhat solid.

He told me of his traveling the several shards to observe and act where he was needed. He then told me of the concerns he had for the shard we know as Lake Superior, my home. The shard has been experiencing very bad moral as of late. The moral has something to do with holding the plane that the shard exists on. If the moral or spirit of the people get too low the power of the plane will not be sufficient to hold the existence together. The shard will dissolve and be no more.

He told me of his plan to prevent this and the part he wanted me to play in it. He then opened a moongate and took me to the desert where we went into a Palace he had before he left the shard. It is a grand place, but in disarray since it has not been used in a few years. He gave me control of the house and told me that he wanted me to form a Conclave. He told me that he wanted me to gather representaives from all the towns. He wants me to meet with them and make plans and to put these plans into motion.

He wants this Conclave to plan and hold shard wide festivals. He gave me 200,000,000 of his gold to help sponsor some of these fesitvals. He told me that any citizen must have the ability to petition the Conclave for aid in also doing a festival. He kept saying "of the shard, for the shard".

We sat on the roof of the Palace and he gave me more details that I will relate in another document. He outlined the rules for the Conclave. He asked me to act as Prime Minister relating to the Conclave for a period of one year. At the end of that year the Conclave is to elect another to replace me. He told me of the Army the Conclave must create.

He also impressed upon me that the Conclave must be a democracy. It must listen to all citizens and not be political in nature. Agan the words, "of the shard, for the shard," kept coming from him.

I asked him who designed the Palace and he told me of Elaine the Dark Witch. I promised I would seek her out and employ her aid to bring the Palace back to its former glory. At the time of this document she has already started her work.

As my work progresses and as I start to form the Conclave I will come here and post more documents that will contain more detailed information. I look forward to working with the Barons and their cohorts in the future.
