Moonglow Zoo

I've just been to the Zoo, and it was empty. I've never checked it in the all time I've been in LA, so were there any animals in there? Do the points decay and we lost all of them?

I was just wondering with all the wonderful tamers we have in LA, would it be possible if we could get some animals in there? Maybe do an event or something.

And why are there so few choices on what to donate? Where's the Ki-rin, the Bulls

and the Cus, so they don't have to die?

I believe when we first arrived in LA it was at lvl 1. Yes points do decay over time. I for one would love to "stock" it up. the rewards really arent worth it but what would be easy in my opinion if it takes cu's we could have one tamer taming while another does drop-offs pretty safe and effective.

We were up a bit about a month ago (last time i checked), but the points do decay. Have to set up a chain of tamers turning pets in to get it any up, then maintain it.

I donate unicorns every so often. The only thing I've ever seen at the LA zoo is a crane.

Unis, nightmares, drakes and dragons, ki-rin too. Unfortunately it won't take cus, I have tried. If you are a lower level tamer, go get a herd of polar bears or white wolves. Rune beetles work too. So do slimes lol.

On Pac we had it full at one point. I guess everyone else ran out of interest, and it is down to level one again. *sigh*

Years ago when I first joined UO, the zoo was stocked with various critters but those were removed when people kept using the zoo for skill training (archery, magery, etc.). At least that why I think they were removed.

Fast forward to Mondain's Legacy and the zoo collections. I've been donating unicorns since it opened and at one time the zoo had a Silver Steed and got to it's highest level. I did a News Report on the event when I was still a reporter for Stratics. After that, it just went downhill.

LA is a small shard and doesn't have enough people who can donate to keep the level up. I wish it wouldn't decay so fast or the donation points could be based on population of the shard or something so that small shards don't have to donate as many critters to get to the level and maintain it. Just my opinion.

There was talk at the Chicago town hall meeting of revamping the requirements and decay rates of the collections to make them more reasonable. Timeline was not specified, though, and it was lumped in with other balancing-related answers: "after Stygian Abyss."

Ally, you can donate ki-rin's like, Adri said. They are worth just as much as uni's.
