![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | What defines Nobility? [ + news of an event ] source taken from UO Europa posted by Lord Light I apologize in advance for some if not most of this report is done out of character. Now i pose you this one question... what is it in this life who makes someone noble? Through the course of history and time we find people judged by thier actions. Everything has a cause and effect in UO and in life. Now what happens when someones actions in a game... reflect into life itself? Where that person can show thier heart to others and help make things better. Alot of people throughout our fair land help those they call friend. Bringing friendship out of UO and into Real life. Thats not why im writing this though.... I am writing this for one person in particular who we all know as a collector of the rarest items in the land. Hemisphere. Many of you may have taken notice of the posting on the calander that shows Hemisphere's Charity Auction. Yes folks its a new auction on our shard but its also an event that reflects into life. Hemisphere will be auctioning items (rare and precious items) and through the wonders of Ebay and a charity called Mission Fish. The URL for this Missionfish is http://www.missionfish.org/ they have around 8000 charities there and have raised over 32 million dollars to help charities. At the auction ingame people will bid gold on many big ticket items. You can also find in the forums a link for the larger ticket items where you can place cash bids as well. I will be covering the Charity Auction ingame and bringing a closer in depth interview with Hemisphere and his decision to sell items he has collected for charity. My hat goes off to you Hemisphere. Not only for bring a great musuem... but also for giving back. Not only to our community but to people in need as well. The auction will be on August 29th and will be followed by more auctions to come so keep a close eye on your calanders and remember that this is for CHARITY. So go get yourself some gold at swoops and prepare to give to a great cause. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thanks Light I promise it'll be a great auction. I just put together the first week's listings.
