It is my sad duty to inform ye all of the following news I have received at my home today.


Letter to Tabbitha


Lady Tabbitha it is put to me to inform you of commander Jurrels fate.
He is gone. Crystalized. He has sacraficed himself for the whole of sosaria.
I will relay to you the happenings of tonights events. I have also included some renderings of what happened.

We went to the last crater and Jurrel used
a blackrock pendent on it and touching the crystal took
us inside the crater.
It was a feirce battle against nether vortexes and
black rock elementals As we killed the last one we took
a closer look at our surroundings.Their were crystals all
around us and some were the colors of the virtues with
sparkleing lights about them. They seemed to represent them.
Father Antos was there and after watching Jurrel do what most
do.. take a big sword that is and smack the crystal about for a bit
He then sugested that we shoew that we knew what the virtues ment.
So he called for meanings of the virtues. many shouted out nonsense
Which is to be expected from some... afew had the right of it and others began repeating them over and over. While talking of valor a monsterous beast of many bright colors came out of nowhere and the fight was on again. he fell to the many warriors and spellcasters.
The crystal lights died and it became dormant the other followed in kind with two left that of compassion and sacrafice. At the comassion crystal another beast apeared but did not attack anyone and was shown mercy and compassion by helping it return home to the compassion shrine.
When we came to the crystal of Sacrafice...a sacrafice was neded to quell it. Clara Mhor offered herself but it was Comander Jurrel that it took.
He became or was encased in a large crystal and was gone, much to the distress of many gathered there.

It goes without saying we shall all mourn the loss to our land of this great leader,who braved many a situation to maintain our freedom.

We need to instill our faith in the Virtues even more so now,to guide us through the coming evil that will now doubtless ravage our lands.

We must put Valour and Sacrifice before all else as the Commander did,.

We must be ready and willing to stand side by side with the Bloodguard as they endeavour to fight on without their Commander.

As a sign of respect and to mourn this loss all Hospitallers will wear a red sash until further notice .

The sashes can be collected from the guild stores behind Blanchefort.

To all Sosarians

With Commander Jurrel’s great sacrifice we must stand together more now than ever before. We have a terrible evil walking our lands and it is growing. Although I have not as yet given up hope for Commander Jurrels return, I will however put great effort into a unified victory for Sosaria, along side all that will aid our great lands. I request that we all draw ever deeper on the virtues in all we do. Although this is a very sombre occasion two things have come to light regarding this recent episode which I feel is significant. One is in the secret upper room in Trinsic, the last skeleton was heard to say to Commander Jurrel that Blackrock had not destroyed his (Jurrels) trust in the Virtues as he (the skeleton) had expected. The second point that we should not be overly despondent as regards Commander Jurrels fait as Father Antos indicated the practicing of the virtues may lead to the reversing of Commander Jurrels present situation.

When recently checking the craters I have noticed that a field has appeared around the Crystalline Commander Jordan Jurrel in the 9th crater. I request any information on it or any other developments surrounding the craters be reported as soon as possible.
