Re: Lady Flame.War has indeed broken out ........

It alll makes me want to put heavy doors on my open to the world home!! Are we now reduced to a state of siege in our own homes? My poor tailor and chef are wary of trips into any town for supplies, and my smith is nervous about mining even in the nearby mountain! Now with the news of Murderers roaming the lands along with the invading forces! Thank the gods for the brave warriors who sally forth to meet the onslaught and save us from it!

More news regarding War Crimes committed in Vesper

source taken from
UOEuropa
posted by on Stratics forums

Now that the Loyalists had been removed from the once again Free City of Vesper tranquility had returned to the North. Merchants were once again free to go about their business, free of persecution and unjust taxation. Even a dance contest had been organized to wash away the gloom of the Loyalist oppression in the region. Or was it?

A large part of the Loyalist expeditionary force had fled Vesper before they could be trapped and it did not take them long to get active. Scout reports had notified the Freedom fighters that a large division of them had been seen marching on Minoc. And now, reliable information had reached our ears that an arms caravan was destined for Minoc, siege tools and materials to build barricades. Barricades, more to keep innocent Minocian from fleeing their oppression rather then keeping the Freedom fighters out no doubt. Hastily, a raiding party was assembled and could rally in the homes of several Minoc citizens who were more then willing to oppose the tyrannical Loyalists.

Their scouts carefully tracked the considerable Loyalist forces. The Freedom fighters were able to attack the Caravan in the flank and caused havoc on it's hapless defenders. Quickly dispatching the guards they braced themselves for additional reinforcements sent in by the Loyalists.
Despite overwhelming odds the Freedom fighters had succeeded in their mission...until they checked the packhorses. Immediately after realizing they were packed with cloth, it dawned upon them this was a mere trap. With several of their men still tending to their wounded an overwhelming Loyalist force encircled their position. The fighting was brief but fierce as the Covian guards and Vesper Trade Company fighters took as much Loyalists with them as they could. The fight was pointless, but we made them pay dearly!

The Covians had barely returned home when we were alerted by Ophidian assaults upon the city of Vesper. Quickly realizing this was too much of a coincidence a patrol was dispatched to find out where these Ophidians came from! A trail was quickly discovered leading to the Vesper Graveyard and then to the tunneled passage to Papua. Upon reaching Papua the guardsmen could hardly believe their eyes. Loyalists forces were herding Ophidian snakes from their natural habitat into the Vesper Passage!! These war criminal obviously stopped at nothing to ensure Vesper and the North would be utterly destroyed! Surely this dastardly act ranks high with their numerous crimes and will not go unavenged!

Re: Royal Britanian Guards (Bloodguard Div) Meteors fall

I could not agree more Flame and Jomo. Most of my members and myself are English or European with GMT + 1,2 and 3 hrs
Making events so late in the weekdays is just going exclude a LOT of folk from taking part.

Its not enough we dont have GM's for most of the day ,now we wont have events in out prime time playing too ?

there is always two sides to every gold piece, this rendition was taken from the Sosarian Post.

Quote:
Cowardly Covians!
Needed aid intercepted by repulsive rebels – (Written by the one and only Gretcha Gossip)

Yesterday, Minoc bore witness to the true evils that are the rebels of Britannia.
The Loyalists, not known for their usual acts of kindness, showed they have a softer and surprisingly more compassionate side to them, with a good-natured aid convoy to the people of Minoc.
Unbeknown to them, the rebels had caught wind of their act of kindness and brutally attacked the loyalist troops as they escorted the caravans into the heart of the city.
Sergeant “Muscle-bound” Madsen’s unit, seemingly in charge of the first convoy was callously ambushed by the cowardly Covians and what one can only assume was their hooker entourage. Bladius “It’s not how it looks!” Dart, and the other commanders of the best looking Militia in Britannia, (has anyone else noticed how the gruff, grizzled, gorgeous look of Sergeant Carpenter has many a head turning) were not put off by this fierce and ruthless ambush on them, and led through the next convoy.
It’s unclear if the second of the two convoys made it through but Minoc’s streets were quickly littered with Covian carcasses.
Though one may feel sorry for the injuries the rebels suffered, we have to remember it was an aid convoy that was attacked, a caravan carrying food and much needed medicinal equipment.
Has Arrrrrr ’Kay finally returned to his pirate roots, attacking anything with the intention to greedily nab any available booty, or has Octiovus finally succumbed to his inhuman side. Who knows?
A tip for you dear Covians, start hiring the likes of the gorgeous guardsmen and you may one day get my support.
One thing’s for sure I think we should all start to cry: “Long live the King!”

Re: Royal Britanian Guards (Bloodguard Div) Meteors fall

Spot on Tabbitha.............

I really enjoyed the last invation, even though some of the attacks came on Saturday Night at the time I go out to enjoy myself:grin:
Tamers attacking the Generals and the rest of us killing anything that got in our way...the 'Loot'..........still got loads of the 'Special Weapons' found on the Generals corpses.

Just hope that some of the events WILL take place at a more reasonable time for us Europeans. I know that we are all different and have different life style's and you cannot please everybody........but a little more thought would be appreciated.

Finally we have proof that the Loyalists are not herding the Ophidians into Vesper.

"It was taken from us."

A note recovered from the corpse of an Ophidian Courier:

It was taken from us. It will be returned. The thief will know a thousand fangs piercing his flesh.

Slake Snoelen
Royal Ophidian Guard
As well as the discovering the article above the Guards were told that 3 out of the 4 thief corpses had been replaced with a note.

Lets hope we can now unit against this common threat.

Re: Lady Flame.War has indeed broken out ........

*gets up rubbing head* "Ouch" was the pain from the battle or the wine I had drunk after such a desturbing night. Thankyou Lord Light for telling things as you truly saw them. We had heard reports that the Ophadines had set tents up beside there strongold and thought it was worth investingating, so gathering just the few that were in Commander Jurrels officewe set out, a mistake on my part. If only I had known how much the Ophadines had reinforced it. It was not very long before I realised this mistake and called a retreat, but at that moment my hopes sored as Commander Jurrel coming from nowhere stood beside me and said he would get reinforcments. He also opened a gate that lead back to the safty of his Minoc office. Reforming we held our position till help arrived and it was an
honor to have fought side by side with them as we pushed forward slowly step by step. Once we reached the stronghold everyone secured it and investigated the tents that had been set up, to our horror these were to creat arms to prepar a very large force for battle and war.

With this information we reformed on the upper floor of the stronghold and brifly chatted about the discovery. At this moment we heard that Cove and Vesper forces were coming closer to our position and the force that I was so proud that I had fought beside formed up at the top of the stairs to defend themselves not from the Ophadines but from Cove and Vesper forces. I urged them not to attack and that we needed to unit against the Ophadines and raced past them down the stairs. Once there I instructed the new arrivals not to go upstairs as we needed to quickly form a breif end to the continued agression between them. As soon as they had this knowledge they pushed pass me heading for the stairs. The battle was terrible with Sosarian fighting Sosarian and new waves of Ophadines that constanlty assulted our position rained down on us all. I was pleased when the night was over and I was once again back at the guards rest.
