It was a time of legends and dreams. Through out the lands of Sosaria was the echo of a thousand voices. Rumors swirled in the midsts of dreams of a new race and a new legend. I admit my friends that i have not always been here.... Life is a curious thing is it not? There are times that we loose our grasp on what means the most to us and others when it looses it's grasp... on us. This tale is a tale that is long and will take many days to tell so please, sit by my fire, drink of my ale, eat of my bread and allow me to show you what visions I can see.


As the flames of the fire light up the woods that surround us, the moon raises in the sky lighting our glade and casting purple shadows through the trees. A silence that is not often known in our great land slowly decends till nothing remains but my voice...

This tale begins in my earliest of memory. I came from outside the lands of Vesper. A lord by birth with a yearning for something more. So i left my father, and my lands far behind me. Taking only my book, my quill, and a small pouch of gold. I came to see a man named Dagget. He was a simple fellow who lived off the land cutting from trees to make his living. It was he who led me to the city of Britain. Its spires, its people, and its life. Its hard to explain exactly my first view of Britain. I still remember walking to the bank and seeing scores of people i have never seen. Laughter, talking, and a few sparring to test thier strength. In those days our land was simple. A land of men.

As time wore on things once again changed as they always do. Elves of different sizes began to venture into our great land from the elf gate. Sometimes a bit arrogant, other times helpfull. They eventually grew as one with our people. It was then i met another great friend. Gareth he called himself. A warrior who held honor and merit above all else. Someone who would always help another regardless of what happened to himself.

Now though i feel that i have forgotten my path. I wander the lands and know not where i go. In the hopes to see that which i have not seen. Perhaps my friends this is where this journey is to take me. Not into the lands but to you. To journey to the people themselves once again who make Sosaria... who make the journey more... who provide to others. These are the days of dreams. Together we have fought off the invasion forces of the Ophidians. Together we have solved all things that the gods put in our path. So with that i have decided that together we shall voice the true Legends of the land... the people.

So for the next month look for a man in black carring a book and seeking to know thee. Spread this news to your friends, your family, and to all you know.

Lord Light has returned... so now let this tale begin.
