Our world is in chaos. As rifts appear through the land of Sosaria a nation which has been divided struggles to find itself. In a battle that has taken numerous lives we fight on. Still not finding our victory... a victory that i fear will hold a very real and dear price to us all. *sighs* I know not how to begin this epic tale... for this is one that rivals the Ophidian invasion in its size and yet has such a limit to its scope. Our enemy is fairly unknown to us. An entity named the Void. This creature is like none we have ever faced... with powers of fierce and ferocious scope.

Our story begins in a room... with a fair lady named Flame. There she studied and labored. Upon entering i cant help but stare at the number of artist drawings of the area around the void and within the rift. Despite those who would dare to speak down to her... or attempt to undermine her authority... it is HER plan, and HER efforts that will be leading us to victory. Will people never learn? Will people ever listen... Anyways i digress and you have my apologies...

I approached slowly and cleared my throat to ask if it is time yet. Slowly the Lady Flame rose and spoke, 'Yes Lord Light it is time', with a small bow i followed her into the Throne room of Castle British. The assembled tamers, mages, bard, and warriors all cheered at her coming as she mounted those red steps. As is her tradition she spoke to those who had assembled and then ordered the army to march.



Portals were opened across the throne room. Blue beacons that reflected in the eyes of those around them. We entered and then following Lady Flame's orders also entered the next Blue hole. Our location was to be Illish, and the Shrine of Humility. With a chuckle i notice the people yelling as they stream out of the moongate heading to the location of rift. The Lord Mord, Lady Flame, and Lady Clara all riding in front passing the evil who shunned from our coming. Lizardmen, and other monstrosities all hid as the army rode past. Afraid of why we had come to thier home... afraid thier deaths were to be close at hand. They were not the reason we came though.

The army assempled outside the rift as Lady Flame began to organize the party. This only one battle though of three that have thus far occured... The first two were successes in thier own rights while the third... well i shall get to that. Raising her sword the light glinting off the steel Lady Flame narrowed her eyes... Horses grew still at knowing what was to come... The army of the Bloodguard had assembled and was prepared to defeat its foe at any cost.

Upon entering the rift our might force found death coming on swift wings. Claiming our lives and injuring even the strongest of warriors. Our dead as ghosts roamed a now dangerous and deadly landscape. Victory was ALWAYS our main goal but so was information. Flame commanded us to regroup and in a rush everyone went and rezed to only return time and time again. Constatly i noted Lady Flame and Lord Mord in deep conferance and taking notes. Almost as though they knew that while we may not win... we would certain learn and in learning know the weakness of what we were facing.




As our battle continued though Lady Flame... our commander began to look bleak... yet a fire seemed to surround her as she stared at a lone bard... A fire of hope and understanding for she knew the answer and she knew what needed to be done...

As i glance out my the window of my tower i notice that it is now dark so softly i set my pen down and proceed to my study... More artwork is to be painted for this is only a small part of this story... The beginning of it. So much more is yet to come. So enjoy this first part and do not judge it to harshly for much more will be printed my friends.
