A player warns the miners out there to take extra care when out and about.

There I was late last night, happily mining for gold in the little cave off the passage near Shame (12.50N 69.36W) when a BR Ellie popped out from the cave wall right in front of me ..... and wham! ..... pet and I are dead before we even had a chance to run.

I was SO not expecting it (after all BR Ellies haven't been exactly high profile over the last few weeks - and I was using a normal shovel crafted by my tinker). Got such a fright I nearly wet my pants !!

I remember early days when BR Ellies first appeared there were one or two that popped up in Tram. Was I just unlucky - or are BR Ellies now common in certain parts of Tram ?

They randomly appear when mining in caves or dungeons...generally speaking when you mine that random peice of blackrock, regardless if in Tram or Fel. I have mined up 6 small peices of blackrock and have had 2 ele's appear and gank me and my pet. Mountain sides are safe from what I understand. I still do caves though...
