Yes! It's me at work again. Seeing how that means I'm posting here and usually whacking away at the arcade, you can figure out how good of an employee I am! Hehe.

Anyway, today's interesting situation follows: there's a bunch of kids here in the library going all apesh*t playing Runescape, and apparently one of them has "stolen" the other one's character! It's funny as I'm witnessing a case of "hacking an account" IRL, hehe. I guess they've just shared their passwords with each other and someone abused it, but in any case this one is amusing considering I play an online game too.

What's less amusing is they just won't shut up and everyone's getting pissed off.

Needed that drink this mornin, yes the whole bottle, all 3 of my bikes are out of action at the mo, so im spending 2 hours of walking and 2 hours on train just to get to work and back at the moment. To say the least after cycling the journey for years on end, i dont care if would have had to cycle 40 mile in rain, its much better than what im doing this week

Amusin for you to see that unfold adri, what happened in the end? Kick them out? Or did it unfold some other way?

We had to kick some of the smaller kids out to calm the area down a bit, by kick out I mean kick 'em over to the kids' department as this place is for ages 12-20. The more kids there are in here the worse the noise gets so gotta limit 'em how we can.

For the rest though all we could do really was keep telling 'em to calm down and shut up, it worked to the degree that it never got truly out of hand but god it's annoying to have this constant restlessness going on. They're mostly 12- or 13-year-olds.

Wonder if we should just ban Runescape and be done with it...

Well seeing as your no longer on the road Ly-Las I suppose your not breaking any laws drinking so much, I hope you get your bikes sorted soon.

Me play Runescape? Hell no! I'm an Ultima kind of gal all the way.

Apparently the kids' department already banned Runescape due the excessive noise and bad behaviour... which means we'll prolly be getting even more of those nutters over here. Might be an interesting day.

Oh and not sure if any of you watched/care about the Eurovision song contest, but tonight we're having a victory party over here and Lordi will be performing among others in one of the town market squares where they've built some huge stage thingie for it.

Can't really express how good it makes me feel that in that competition finally rock > crap generic product music sold with sex.
