we have been to Vesper many times now to escourt and protect any that have need. But sadly we have meet with Twothumbs and he considers this an act of war and has demanded our withdraw. For now as there is enough there to control the attack we have abided by his request but we will still return from time to time as humanitarian aid for the people. Perhaps one day he will see that the Bloodguard do not have any designs on his town and will only bare arms there to protect in times of national security and will immediatly withdraw once the threat has been controled or removed.
Our thanks for your request of aid and we will continue to help as much as we can.

Am in Vesper as I report this............

Just South of Vesper Bank by the Jewelers, there masses a group of Ophidians, Zealots Enforcers and Warriors....do not know from where they come...as quick as I slay they reinforcements arrive.....don't know how long I can hold on for......wait.....

A small Army bearing the inscription BoC has arrived .....they are sweeping the Ophidians aside and retaken the area.....

Is this the end of the war?

Am in Papua as I report this.........

The Citizens of Papua are being slaughtered by the invation of Ophidians.......
It is worse here than in Vesper. Not only have the Ophidians taken most of the town, but as in the invation of Brit, they have control of the healers...
(Warriors do not venture here alone, you will need help of others to rez you.)

As I say, the situation is worse than in Vesper.......... the Ophidian Mages have somehow found away to swarm Wyverns into the SE of the town to attack along side them.

The people of Papua need your help. Do not let them down.

Thank you Jomo for your reports . They are a great help. I have since travelled to Papua after reading of your report and I am sad to say the invasion has caused casualties already .

In Vesper all needing sanctuary are being offered such in Valetta situated next to Bucs den gateway.

Royal Britannian Guards (Bloodguard Div)

A small group of the Bloodguard meet at Command Jurrels office in Minoc to see if the now resident Erisk had any more comments to make. But sadly we could get no more from him so we decided it was time for us once again to travel the streets of both Papua and Vesper to evacuate anyone that had stayed but now wished to leave. We posted a note to say our intentions and set off first to the Guards Rest to see if anyone was there. Finding Lady Clara Mhor she eagerly joined us and a gate was opened to Papua. Arriving at Papua bank the Bloodguard found only the bank Clarks there who were still unwilling to leave. Sadly as we fought our way from building to building it was the same. Turning the corner of one road we came upon Ishida deep in battle, so without hesitation we assisted and was grateful when Ishida agreed to join our force. Yet more intense fighting followed as we continued in our mission. It was when we rounded the corner after checking every building that we came across a pile of Ophidian corpses and the smiling face of Foxmouldy. Now with him agreeing to join our force and Papua thoroughly searched a gate was opened to Vesper bank.



Once at the bank FoxMouldy agreed to wear the Bloodguard sash whilst Ishida put on a Bloodguard robe that was issued during the Despise invasion and a new Bloodguard cloak. Now ready in Bloodguard uniforms we turned to face whatever lied ahead in Vesper. But as we turned we came across a woman by the name of Anna- Maria staring down the road from the bank. She turned and greeted us with a smile. We explained that we were on a mercy mission to help free any who were still trapped within Vesper and her face brightened even more. It turned out that she was in need of an escort back to the Swaggers Inn where she was the proprietor, so we immediately offered assistance and lead her down the road through a small force of Ophidians and Wyverns to the Swaggers Inn. It was then that an offer of refreshments was made and we followed her down to a beach side bar which had temporarily been set up during refurbishment of the Inn. Anna-Maria hurried off to arrange for more tables and chairs for us and then we received a welcome from Hans Davison if you can call it that. He made it clear that Loyalists were not welcome and we were to leave immediately. But at that moment Anna-Maria returned and stepped in before any trouble could start, stating that we were her guests and he was not to interfere. But this was still not good enough for Hans scowling at us he demanded we removed our Loyalist shields from his presence. Well we could not see a problem with this as we were hardly going to drink with a shield in our hand and disarmed ourselves. With that he stomped off, and with our tables set we sat down to enjoy not only a refreshing drink but also a well sung song from Shai’tan a bard employed at te Swaggers. Not wanting to over stay our welcome we soon left and returned to the Commanders office to see if anything new had been reported there.



It was a welcome site when Commander Jurrel entered and spoke to us. We made our report regarding our talks with Erisk and our continuing search for a Palace of Knowledge he had slipped up and mentioned. We also reported on the nights mission into Papua and Vesper with how we had hopefully improved the diplomatic situation with at least one Vesparian with our assistance. Still showing the same confidence as before he was pleased with our night work and stated how he had already decided on what needs to be done to keep Britannia safe. We also took a moment to comment on his new Paladin Armour which he explained he had taken time to collect each piece of the Ornaments of Virtue. With our nights work now complete and our report made we sort the rest we had earned that night, but who can truly rest in such troublesome times.

On a sortie around some of the invation areas this evening, I found that the Opidians seem to have withdrawn from Skara.
Is this just a ploy? are have they departed for good?
Or maybe some other unexpecting town will fall to their sneak attacks.

What Ophidians I did see were being attacked by a couple of brave warriors.......they were struggling to keep up with the onrush....for everyone they killed two more appeared to take their place.

On a scroll in Vesper graveyard there is a scroll in a pool of blood asking for a 'Artificed Scion' to be returned.

Anyone know what this is?

Part 1
So did we free Vesper, possibly, maybe, and tentatively yes. Upon inspection of Vesper this morning to the point at which we had to leave, the Ophidians have not returned. We would like to thank all those that turned up to fight this 5 hour long epic battle and there display of more than a little endurance. In order not to become down hearted as we could not clear the last south western section I am posting a Link for you for your perousal. We are 90% sure that the battle was fought in the right order as set out by Draconi, however we believe something is amiss. If you look at this link of note is the update to recall areas, Ophidian healer limitations and several others, indicating that the invasion was not working as intended and thus its been necessary for them to add updates. It is our belief that perhaps the last section that we tried to clear last night is also not working correctly, only time will tell., and so this brings us to Part 2.


Part 2
Inu has been found! Located at Reg Volom and accompanied by her good friend Yrigor (who needs putting down). It appears that several brave souls have tried in vain to destroy Yrigor, however failing up until 7.30 this morning (he has not yet been destroyed). The latest news we have available is that this is still so, and as this will require a concerted effort, its thought that a temporary diversion of the Sosarian Army (that’s you) would be in order.
So we will be arranging a 7pm UK time gathering tonight at castle British with the intention of destroying Yrigor and perhaps interviewing Inu.

Note: if Yrigor has been already been killed the new dungeon section should be worth exploring for those that have not been there. Also of note one particular door requires a skilled lock picker who will need to regularly help people to get in and out (preferably a stealthier (any volunteers)). This is a praticularly dangerous environment and spells will only work against an enemy if you are immediately adjacent to them, communication is also hampered in the same way, so you will need to get into parties. Beyond the locked door you will need 2 passwords for 2 other doors to progress. We will leave you to have the fun in finding out what they are. We will see you at 7pm tonight . ( Link to spoiler)

T'was a right royal ding dong last night.

The army slowly worked it's way from island to island clearing the slithery Ophidians from the town.
At the last push I was felled by a General. Saddly no one wanted to rez me, I ended up searching the woods between Vesper and Minoc for a wandering healer. The Woods were crawling with the slithering beasts so I had to be careful with my return journey only to find my bones had disappeared. Thus ended my battle with the Ophidians at Vesper, no bandies ...my pet had wondered (I know not where) so I followed the cleared path through the islands of Vesper till I found a spot where I could teleport to the safty of my home. A swipe of my hand over my pets crystal ball and he appeared, as if by magic, in front of me. He was still alive but carried the scars he had recieved while I was not there to tend him.
I bare no grudges to the warriors and mages so wraped up in the turmoil of battle for the lack of healing, I had both seen the dead rezzed and healed some myself throughout the conflict.
I think that in future conflicts an aid station at the first cleared area (as happened at Cove), might be a good idea then the dead know where to go to be rezzed and rejoin the battle.

Saddly I will not be able to join you in your fight tonight (have a 40th party to attened), but I wish you all God's speed and good luck.

It is with a heavy heart I scribe this to you this day.

As I took my morning ride through Vesper , I was horrified to see the invasion has started up again.
I swiftly went to Papua ,Serpents Hold and Skara Brea ,and Papua is also back in the clutches of those slitehring fiends.

This is devastating for the townsfolk of the North, who had already begun to plan their Victory celebrations.

I await your thoughts on this matter.
