Part 1
So did we free Vesper, possibly, maybe, and tentatively yes. Upon inspection of Vesper this morning to the point at which we had to leave, the Ophidians have not returned. We would like to thank all those that turned up to fight this 5 hour long epic battle and there display of more than a little endurance. In order not to become down hearted as we could not clear the last south western section I am posting a Link for you for your perousal. We are 90% sure that the battle was fought in the right order as set out by Draconi, however we believe something is amiss. If you look at this link of note is the update to recall areas, Ophidian healer limitations and several others, indicating that the invasion was not working as intended and thus its been necessary for them to add updates. It is our belief that perhaps the last section that we tried to clear last night is also not working correctly, only time will tell., and so this brings us to Part 2.


Part 2
Inu has been found! Located at Reg Volom and accompanied by her good friend Yrigor (who needs putting down). It appears that several brave souls have tried in vain to destroy Yrigor, however failing up until 7.30 this morning (he has not yet been destroyed). The latest news we have available is that this is still so, and as this will require a concerted effort, its thought that a temporary diversion of the Sosarian Army (that’s you) would be in order.
So we will be arranging a 7pm UK time gathering tonight at castle British with the intention of destroying Yrigor and perhaps interviewing Inu.

Note: if Yrigor has been already been killed the new dungeon section should be worth exploring for those that have not been there. Also of note one particular door requires a skilled lock picker who will need to regularly help people to get in and out (preferably a stealthier (any volunteers)). This is a praticularly dangerous environment and spells will only work against an enemy if you are immediately adjacent to them, communication is also hampered in the same way, so you will need to get into parties. Beyond the locked door you will need 2 passwords for 2 other doors to progress. We will leave you to have the fun in finding out what they are. We will see you at 7pm tonight . ( Link to spoiler)

T'was a right royal ding dong last night.

The army slowly worked it's way from island to island clearing the slithery Ophidians from the town.
At the last push I was felled by a General. Saddly no one wanted to rez me, I ended up searching the woods between Vesper and Minoc for a wandering healer. The Woods were crawling with the slithering beasts so I had to be careful with my return journey only to find my bones had disappeared. Thus ended my battle with the Ophidians at Vesper, no bandies ...my pet had wondered (I know not where) so I followed the cleared path through the islands of Vesper till I found a spot where I could teleport to the safty of my home. A swipe of my hand over my pets crystal ball and he appeared, as if by magic, in front of me. He was still alive but carried the scars he had recieved while I was not there to tend him.
I bare no grudges to the warriors and mages so wraped up in the turmoil of battle for the lack of healing, I had both seen the dead rezzed and healed some myself throughout the conflict.
I think that in future conflicts an aid station at the first cleared area (as happened at Cove), might be a good idea then the dead know where to go to be rezzed and rejoin the battle.

Saddly I will not be able to join you in your fight tonight (have a 40th party to attened), but I wish you all God's speed and good luck.

It is with a heavy heart I scribe this to you this day.

As I took my morning ride through Vesper , I was horrified to see the invasion has started up again.
I swiftly went to Papua ,Serpents Hold and Skara Brea ,and Papua is also back in the clutches of those slitehring fiends.

This is devastating for the townsfolk of the North, who had already begun to plan their Victory celebrations.

I await your thoughts on this matter.

Thankyou for the imforming me, this is indeed bad news but it seems they have learned from the Orcs of the despise invasion, that of returning. Last night there was one last spawn left at Skara that we kept having to remove. Although it took longer and longer to return each time we took it out. Perhaps if we clear it back to there once more, and man that point we may be able to control this a bit more, whilst a solution to the Ophidian situation can be found. I enclose the map on how to liberate Vesper once more. I have seen that Bee Hive Island (the start point) has already been liberated, which should help prevent the Ophidians from continuing onto Serpent Hold, a commendable quick action and well done to everyone who helped to clear it.
This just leaves me to invite everyone to Brit Palace once again tonight at 7pm UK time. I will also get a map for Papua ready to aid us.

Did everyone forget you have to clear out the spawn in Fel also, or they will just keep sending them from there to aid the invasion in Tram?

Excellent NEWS Vesper is once again free. I hope for a bit longer this time. We pushed them back from both Bee Hive Island and then the Bank Island then we had Beserkers spawn all over Vesper, slowly and carefully we took Island after Island from the Beserkers and now we only have the last few at the Graveyard by the note, which seems to be constantly reinforced no matter what we do.
Onto South Papua. Rune to the South Papua in red rune book number 3 an top floor of the guards rest.

Twas on the third dawning of a rising sun... a weary army holding thier heads high rode through the dead and depths of hell to achieve a victory that no other has ever accomplished to this date. We rode for Sosaria... We rode for life... and in the end we rode for each other. Never before in all my days have i seen such a group of people assemble for a unified purpose. Here is where my story begins my friends... In the halls of our king. Where we had met so many times before.

Lady Flame was there in the red of the Bloodguard, her blond hair reflecting the light of the surrounding sun. Lord Mord by her side, ever noticed with his white wizard hat, and Fear... A mysterious man of the dark arts of magic. A call of a trumpet was heard echoing through the castle announcing the arrival of our army.

In marched the soldiers i had seen so many times before. Trevelyan, SpyderByte, Arak, Clara, Morgana, Hunter, and more then I can even begin to mention in this story. I stood behind Lady Flame watching the gathering soldiers and thinking if we can actually do this... The battle of Vesper... *shiver* I still remember the screams of falling warriors as the Ophidian reinforcements continued to replenish thier ranks at the inn. Today was to be our day of fate. We would succeed or die trying... there was no other option.

Standing before her fellow sosarians Flame glanced around slowly. Despite the fear showing in her eyes her face was strong and resolute. With a deep breath she began to address those who came to the call...

You all know why you have come. So i do not feel that i will waste words or time with noble words or sentances. No words... no speeches... shall ever echo as loudly as your deeds which you... you brave and noble people have come to do. Tonight is THE night we charge into the abyss! Tonight is the night we take our land's enemy and return it to the place it came! Tonight... We Free Sosaria!

With those small words the crowd cheered and Lord Mord wove a moongate to Southern Papua... Where our battle took form.



We entered Papua in an orderly fashion. Our horses trod softly as if knowing that surprise would be of great benefit to us. Men softly ran through the woods and mud pausing as we crested a hill to view the assembled army below us. An Ophidian General sat hissing at his warriors. Then with hardly a glance he turned to slay a poor soul of Papua as he pleeded for his life. Shakily i admit i remembered to breathe. Slowly Lady Flame drew her sword out and rose on the mound... she needed to not say a word as we rushed forward... our fear forgotten. Our quest for revenge renewed. Fire burned through our blood at the sight of these immoral creatures. It was with THIER blood we shall wash the soil of Papua. It was with hardly a glance the General looked up to witness his own doom. With our numbers we were a flood of horse and metal. Unstoppable we waged war without remorse. Today there would be no mercy. No quarter would be spared for these snakes. Not on this day...








Bravely we fought without regard for our own safety or the safety of our mounts. The battle raged until the Ophidians were pushed from the docks... We fought hard and cleared them from the Inn... No where in Papua were they permitted to live. Men and Women together charged into masses of warriors. A truely awe inspiring event that as i think on it brings a tear to my eye. Never have i seen such bravery...

Finally though we reached a point where we were stuck... a point where the Invaders kept coming back. In rage we fought on forcing them East... West... North... in an effort to discover from the direction they are coming. Suddenly on a hill someone noticed our Commander! He came! From our despair of not being able to force a defeat we began to have hope. With the fading light glinting off his armor Jurrel raised his sword in salute of us below and bid us to fight on and never give up. What a sight met my eyes. Warriors who were tired... bleeding... and on the verge of defeat at the site of our commander saluting... not a lord... but US... the people... they had renewed life and vigor. Onward we fought and we won! When the last Ophidian fell Lady Flame ordered the Army to the bank where a picture for all time was taken...


The Defenders of Papua Ophidian Invasion


This night though we did not just defeat the Invasion of Sosaria. We delivered a messege to these snakes. As our forces slowly marched North towards the Ophidian HQ. There we slaughtered the gathered forces. Entering there HQ Building and Tents allowing nothing to remain. Still not done though Lady Flame announced to assemble upstairs and the army advanced to Terathanon Keep. The fighting continued as we destroyed anything with a tail. This was our messege to the Ophidians. Let them learn it well.

Once again the Ophidians take our Cities, so once again we need to push them back from whence they came.

We meet again to show these Snakes that there is no place for them in our homes. As before any that are already fighting them please continue to do so, many have seen your courageous acts. For the rest of Sosaria be you farmer, baker, warrior, mage, tamer etc you are all needed for a united attack on the above date.
