Well I had not seen the advert for this last night before I received a hawk asking me to go along.

Sadly the event was poorly attended,but quality outweighed the quantity.

Although I originally went along to observe only,I was persduaded to have a try.

Never having cursed much in my time,I had to recall some things I had heard my old Irish nan say years earlier.
It paid off though as to my amazement i plucked second prize.

A rather grumpy reporter,Charles Belhaven ,did make some curses but never won anything.Probably because his curses were aimed at the organisers and staff rather than Mondain himself.

Anyway a great time was had by those present and Congratulations to all who took part or helped make it a fun evening.

Oh, by the golden crown of our beloved and never well praised Lord Cantabrigian British!!!

Whom dare you call... "rather grumpy reporter"? I am Charles Belhaven, please write it down correctly... is with B of "beatiful" or "brilliant". And I must say, in my humility, that I am one of the most famous and qualified writers of Sosaria, although I am forced by some motives (and I will not say to ye) to work as reporter by now.

The "event", as you called it, was more adequated to be hosted in the darkest caves of Covetous than in a selfcalled "civilised" town. Who can imagine people cursing in a contest? oh... I beg the old order to return and to avoid those disasters. I could see last night a terrible shown: selfcalled ladies... cursing... One of them, dressed in a very horrible dark black dress (if you want to hear my opinion) said those words:

"I hope the seven terriers of Hell sit on your chest, and bark into your souless cavity!"

Can you imagine it? Where went the good education and the "savoir fer" of our ladies? And the judge...let me laugh at him... a simple farmer librarian who was said is "educated"... by the yew lute of our dear bearded Iolo!

I have the disgrace to live in that farm hamlet called Valoria but I think is necessary to start spreading the truth about that place. Soon I will be obligated to write my own articles reviewing that "events" and I will explain the dark conspirations that take place there.
