Announcing... the Annual London UO Meet... 14:00 on 26th August 2006


We're pleased to announce the annual London Ultima Online players (and ex-players!) meet.

This year there is a change of venue to The Lamb, an excellent 5* pub that a scouting party of Kaldorian Vipers checked out last weekend.

It is within walking distance of Kings Cross and Euston, and Google gives an excellent map and directions.

The meet will begin at 14:00 (2:00pm) on Saturday 26th August. This is the August Bank Holiday weekend; Monday 28th August is a public holiday so we all get an extra day to recover from our hangovers or drink some more.

We have reserved the upstairs function room for the meet, it has its own bar and an excellent selection of food, wine, beer, cider and soft drinks. We have the function room until 23:30 (11:30pm), and then we can decamp to the main bar downstairs for the final half hour until closing time at 00:00. The venue accepts under 18's so long as they don't drink alcohol.

The usual meet hotels are all within walking distance, including the Kings Cross Travelodge and the Premier Travel Inn on the Euston Road.

For International travellers, you can easily reach this area from the Eurostar terminal at Waterloo, Heathrow Airport, Luton Airport, Stanstead Airport, Gatwick Airport and London City Airport.

For those of you with long memories, we've held these meets for many years now and they've nearly all been great successes. Unlike last year's this will not have an official presentation by the Ultima Online developers, so we will be able to concentrate on socialising.
