UO vs Diablo vs Runescape

What does UO have/?

So far, I like UO and I like the fact that you can have pets and houses etc. However, the graphics are horrible and even for 2-D.

Never played 3-D but I heard it sucks

3D isn't too pleasing, and as far as I know goes mostly unsupported.

Never played Runescape so I will give you my opinions between Diablo vs UO

Graphics - Diablo
User-interface - Diablo
Easier Learning Curve - Diablo
Storyline - Slight edge to UO*
Quest Systems - UO
Depth - UO
Freedom - UO
Diverse Playstyles - UO
RP - UO
PvM - UO (although this was close IMO)
PvP - UO
"Templates" - UO (you can fix something if you accidently chose wrong instead of having to start all over)

Overall Entertainment - UO

* - as far as storylines go, UO's is exponentially diverse and goes back forever, but is hard to locate much of if not all. You can also create your own characters storyline.

Diablo's is quite simple, easier to find, yet still entertaining (and hopefully ongoing *crosses fingers*).

UO has never been the graphic leader, it's more about depth of game play. The new release in 2007 UO:KR will introduce a total upgrade for UO's client. It still won't be cutting edge 3d.
Check out the new screenshots and backgrounds in the UO:KR forum. There is a big "news event" supposedly scheduled for Jan 2007.

Lately the way UO's story arc has been, I think Diablo is better on story content.
