I'm from the City of PaxLair, and we're doing great, just celebrated our 7th Anniversary on the 19th of January. Although PaxLair is in Fel, and most people are too afraid to come to Fel these days, we're still kicking with weekly meetings every Monday night at 8:30pm EST. The city, physically is pretty much in the same shape that you probably remember it as from many years ago, all the blessings are still intact and the buildings are open for all to see.

We've actually got a new website with directions and details about the ancient town and our (yes 3 outposts!). RP is largely dead across UO, so while we don't really say "Hail how art thou" anymore, I think PaxLair still maintains the same feel of a virtual town as it did a long time ago; with roles for citizens and various gov't positions that emulate the real world workings of cities and municipalities.

Stop by some time, we're going to be opening a new Saloon near the IGM blessed arena in a few weeks -- and as always, PaxLair is Neutral to all walks of life (that means PKs are more than welcome so long as they don't try to kill everyone while in buildings).

We Moved our Pot of Gold vendor mall to a better local and tons easier to find
It is now 10 Secs west of Yew gate or 6 Tiles behind Yew Bank
So you can Reach your bank box 3 steps from house or so
Makes it super easy to stock vendors hehe
Coords are 72 46'N 46 20'W
ALSO we are accepting vendors

And this is a high traffic area too
You can notice the vendors from inside yew bank as well
And Placing and Rent is Free!!!
We just ask you to keep vendor stocked
And advertising the mall is always appresheated

I see that no one has posted about any new establishments in some time, so I will post about mine. I am the Head Curator of the Museum of the Virtues.

It has two main floors, with the first one being solely devoted to the Virtues. There are many displays of artifacts and items related to the 8 Virtues and their respective Principles. I have archived and printed as much lore about them as I can and made the books available for all to read.

The second floor is dedicated to Britannia and its history. I have a small wing dedicated to Lord British, and the rest of the floor is dedicated to the adventures of the Avatar. There are also many books to read on this level.

The Museum is located in the Dry Highlands of Malas, south of Umbra. Most rune libraries have a rune to there. There is also the PaxOku Annex, where I have other exhibits that do not fit in the main museum. It is located in PaxOku on the island of Homare-Jima. There is also a rune there to the main musuem.

I am currently tracking 16-20 library and museum locations for a large article complete with photo-shots. Most of these locations know about the Greater Library Association of Chesapeake, yet some have never responded back to me eventhough they are listed in the runebook.

If there are owners of libraries or museums out there on Chesapeake who would like to be included in the largest Library Association of all the shards, please contact me to be included in the Association, and the upcoming article. There is nothing like a guild membership involved. In fact, there are many guilds and organizations which show their community spirit by hosting their public libraries.

Even if you do not have a library, but know of one, please contact me to help bring it to the public attention.
