Storytelling results

I am pleased to announce that all the seats were filled at the storytelling contest this evening at the Blue Swan Landing in PaxOku. There were several who told their stories throughout the timeframe from 8:30 - 10 pm EST. Those contributing were: Lady Phoenix, Lady Winmere, Gakuct, Winfield, Niva and Lord Gareth. Those who also attended to listen included Mach and Kalars. The theme of the contest was "Change."

Gak told a true story from his past, and his time as a youth. It was apparent how he has changed over the years.

Lady Phoenix told of how things have also changed over the years, and she has changed with the experiences she has had as well.

Next was Winfield who pointed out how not only the lands and times changes, but also how we change, and have been changed by the experiences we have had and the people we have met, and what we learn.

Then, I believe it was Lady Winmere's turn with a story of what happens when statues are changed to come to life.

Then the savage, Niva came and told a story of her tribe and why they have moved to reside in PaxOku and seem to be happy. The only disappointment seems to have been hers that Gakuct is an orc, but I do not allow bloodshed on my floors.

Finally, Lord Gareth came and shared more history between the orc and the savages and how they battle each other in different ways and change their techniques against each other.

After some very difficult debating, the decisions I made are as follows:
Most Memorable : Lady Phoenix
Most Entertaining : Gakuct
Best Told (changed from Best Written) : Lady Winmere

Thank you to all the participants and even those in the audience. Things certainly have changed since my first contest, when there was one person who attended, did not have a story, and the judge alone. I hope to hear more storied next month!
