OK so I went to mark some runes to Zen Garden TWO and kept getting the message that something is blocking the location when I tried to recall to the spot the rune marked. I usually mark a rune inside the home in the front left corners or thereabouts and they always work unless some cow is actually blocking or such. NONE of these worked they marked just fine, but in the testing to recall TO the house every rune said same thing repeatedly..something is blocking the location.

So I tried to mark elsewhere on the plot..same thing. I removed the stone oven, the trough, etc etc. that were the *kitchen* bbq area of the front lawn plot and even changed the foundation and house sign..same thing....something is blocking the location it says. Short of recustomising entirely which I really do not wish to DO right now since I just got all the vendors and addons placed...I just opted to mark out on the lawn behind the house plot .............till I figure out what is going on. Maybe it is some lil Zento bush in the yard there are a few of those that block us when we walk or ride thru there...so maybe it is reading them .......or something.

The runes marked and recalled just fine *out back* and on the outside of the home nearly everywhere..........any one got a clue ??

No there were no cows nor cranes nor samurais nor ninjas nor nothing I could SEE as blocking the spot by the front especially after removing ALL the addons and gozas up front on the plot and still it says ..something blocking.................so I gave up put the addons back in but ..even with them all removed something was *blocking the location* when trying to mark inside the house for the runes... I have no clue atm ! Any suggestions short of recustomising entirely ? !

M'lady Queen Zen, the problem is not with the add ons nor the decor. When you mark a rune inside your house plot, it marked to a place near the house sign. I am willing to bet that near the house sign, there is a tree or water. This is what is blocking your house runes. I have had some experience with one of my own previous properties. You will need to stand somewheres OUTSIDE your housing plot to mark your runes and then relabel them, and this should resolve your problem.

Thank you ! I never had a home plot that had this issue before. Aye there is a tiny small SE sort of bush tis a blocker when we try to walk by or around it onto the side yard there. Well at least I am not nuts and tis not the interior decor. I did have to mark outside and since most of the vendors are on first floor lawn facing the street in the back and side, I just marked out there. Thank ye *thought I twas losing me marbles* hehe !

The same thing happens at my shop. There's a little hill right at the southwest corner of the shop that blocks runes, so I stand out front to mark them and label by hand.
