Hello everyone, like many on the boards i am attempting to return to the game after about 4 years off. I did play for a very short time a year or so ago but managed to learn just about nothing as i was completely on my own. I am currently on napa valley, but the shard seems to be dead, and from what i gather chesapeake is the place to be. I will be attempting to transfer my characters asap. Are there any guilds or individuals who would be willing to help an old vet attempting to learn the nuances of what is pretty much an entirely new game from what i remember? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd love to help. As far as guilds - I suppose that depends on what you're in to! But I am sure we can find a guild that would work for you. What do you like to do when you play? If it's sit at Luna bank, I know just the guild for you. hehe.

Just curious on your normal hours of play too... what with Chessie being eastern time zone. I sometime run into problems and I am just an hour behind these guys. They're running off to Twisted Glade Champion Spawn when I am just getting off work!

Abby, thanks for the reply! I just completed my character transfer! In game i enjoy just about everything, my character is a mage/tamer. I shouldn't have too many problems with the time difference even though i am on the west coast, but i will be playing a limited number of hours each day when school begins on the 25th. Luckily this semester i have all daytime classes leaving the nights available whenever my workload permits. Thanks again for any help!

Welcome to Chesapeake, although I personally would have recommended you start new, and not pay the $$ for a transfer. Gaining skills is not as difficult now as long ago.

Welcome back diablo. Fight wise and learning Peerless and such I would highly recommend RBG. Ryo and Emma are great teachers. Emma will teach you how to die shamefuly and Ryo will teach you how to kill Emma and just about everything else in the game. Any animal questions or training or what not I always go to Ryo for advice. Their website is

They are a very large and active guild that I think does Peerless or Doom 24 hours a day seven days a week. (Not jokeing)

If you have a crafter just let me know. We have our PaxOku Craftrs Society guild (OkuC) for short. We are a crafters only guild and can help train your skills, Easy and quick resource gathering (For bods or to make fast gold selling) Bod help, mining buddies, Heartwood quests, crafting buddies basicaly anything that has to do with crafting.

I would also recommend that you just *tour* the world, if ya not been on in 4 yrs or so, be sure to check out Heartwood and those elves by Yew there thru the sparkly gate..check out the samuari lands and cities, and just wander all over for a spell get to know what is everywhere even new uglies and just die see it in color or monocrome just to become familiar with what is out there. Even some monster may look harmful and be benign or look harmless and fry ya ! sooo get to know the unfamilar walk all over the place got thru every gate even if it goes somewhere ya may not know yet..public gates that is and just *tour* !

And yes ask the tamers what the deal is about these new super dragons so one day YOU can own one or 2 or whatever !
