Greetings,

We were able to field 4 fighters this month, thanks to Valoria Venom joining in, and we had 2 show-up after the fights had started. More Cowbell got in one fight against Kegan but had to suddenly leave. Black-Jack also showed up and was guilded, but did not get a chance to fight. Paco our guest Crafter set-up shop before the fights and geared-up all the fighters, staying in the PaxOku crafting area to accommodate any stragglers. I'd like to offer a big Thank You! to Paco for all his help.

The fights were "best 2 out of 3 falls", here are the results:

1st rounds

Kegan the Mad (Chaos) vs. Lord Magni (Covetous)

Kegan and Magni had a good fight and Kegan was lucky to come away with a 2-0 victory

Valoria Venom (Dagr) vs. Onin (Shame)

Valoria also pulled out a hard fought 2-0 win over last month's Champion, moving into the final round.

2nd round

Valoria Venom (Dagr) vs. Kegan the Mad (Chaos)

In what was a very close fight Valoria Venom pulled off a well deserved victory by defeating Kegan 2-1

Valoria Venom, this month's Champion, received the winners purse of 130,000 gold!

This was the first night where the fighters earned points for the fights (the point total will decide the top two fighters at the end of the year, who will then fight for the title of Grand Champion).

Fighters automatically earn 10 points for participating in the 1st round of matches, and then earn 5 points for every match they win. Here are the point totals for this month:

Valoria Venom-20 points

Kegan the Mad- 15 points

Onin-10 points

Magni-10 points

and since More Cowbell did get one fight in he will also be given 10 points

Black-Jack did not get to fight, but he intended to so he shall receive 5 points, and I hope he joins us for next month's fight!

A posting will be made the week before the fight to register any who would like to try out pit-fighting, in a attempt to have the fights run a little smoother. In addition Lady Malia (SoSV) who holds the Chair of Covetous on the Council of Sin will be Master of Ceremonies from this point on. Thank You M'lady!

Daine (LEt) received 25k for being the first in attendance (She joined us as the fighters were getting out-fitted)

Cymbria Devereux (DWxC) received 10k for guessing Winfield's favorite hobby

and Onin received 10k for guessing closest to the number I had picked between 1-100.....next month it will be between 1-1,000,000 and we shall see if she's so smart then
