My uncle told me that sometimes its hard to do the right thing, but that I should still do it. People that don't do the right thing are not good. (we don't say bad in our house) Sometimes, if they pick on me, I run up and kick them in the shin!

It is unfair, and while it may not appear to affect/effect any of our chrs. it does. Those whom script get everything EASIER ...and many of them sell it all in game to the rest of us, be it boards, ingots, leather, or the in game products made from those resources and then they UP the prices sky high which hits upon us all, and the uo economy as well.

And aside from that, scripting gets the monsters killed swifter better faster whatever they get the loots, they PK better ie use scripts to pk pvm and everything else and also some of em have or seem to have scripts at IDOCS as well. Everything they do via scripting affects us all cuz they get it all done more faster more more more than we can get. I get annoyed when I see em or what appears to be one of them getting all the wood that maybe my own carpenter could use, but I get the message........." there is not enough wood to harvest " right after I seen what appears to be magical wonder lumberjacker getting tons of logs way swifter and scripty like rather than my hit the tree non scripted-like. So in the end they will get MORE of every wood type or leather or ore type out there and etc. I have given up on reporting any of em, glad some folks still do or will but from where I seen it ..paging reporting has never accomplished diddly so I am at the point of why bother ..they never DO a thing about it or just blacken our acct. for reporting which sucks !

They will manage to place at idoc's or most of the time ..rest of us are clicking too but without the scripts...we loose they win and enforcement of any anti scripting rules seems to be nonexistant by the powers that be...and they loose honest customers cuz scripters scripting, cuz it all makes every one else really ticked off ...yes most times we can just keep on keeping on and try not to let them bug us...there way to me is more the losers way...but when others DO try to report them and get no help ever time time again...folks give up some never even report em any more cuz......it seems pointless nothing gets DONE to really truelly get rid of this scripting/scripters or maybe they just can not do it or don't really care cuz the..bottom line is the corporations/ the company wants their incoming monthly fees. So they don't seem to 'care enough' to make it as more of an honorable game of the non cheaters actually winning UO. Tis more like anyone's money works for them just pay em, but in the end it dwindles their income in that it does cost them other customers whom do get fed up with scripting scripters..cuz out there in the field be it pvp pvm or crafting or trying to place a house.............it oft ends up cheaters for the win..rest of us get to just *accept it* and move on till we get tired of that and EA UO loses another customer !

Lord British espoused a virtue called HONESTY t'would be nice if it was employed to curb scripers scripting in his world...and got rid of em period but doubt that will ever really happen..its all about the money incoming even if it's cheaters money, they want it paying and with companies incomes, nowadays.

And rather that resolving scripters issues look what they have done to TRY to change it all with bandage fixes, random ore and wood types which basically punishes the honest...in the process of trying to out manuver game mechanics to dodge around scripters even our time delays oft are due to them...our spirits lack cohesion and you must wait to perform another skill and there is no ore here....all bandage fixes to get around the cheating cheaters yet..ruins our flow due to them and THEY are still scripting, still getting around the obstacle courses and we are left to wait for the timers and random if we lucky to find a tree not obliterated by scripters TO get any wood it will be plain wood not even heartwood let alone frostwood..all changes to try to outmanuver scripters yet left us holding the perverbial bag of nothing or less time and time again...we DIE cuz they slapped blackrock eles in to try to out manuver scripting miners well all my miners got was death robes and quit mining !


So it DOES affect the whole EA UO every shards wide, player base..least the honest ones left ..we do tire of all this time after time after time...2d kr nothing seems to be really preventing them from WINNING UO their scripting ways...and they do not care that the rest of us do not script to do play to get things done in a virtual pixel uo world but we keep trying to hang in there...HOPING honesty pays off, sometimes and ..sometime few timess it does, albeit not as often as cheating via scripts pays off for the scripters and those whom they pay to play UO as well.

I have no stomach to script myself..once won a competition to gm tailoring without macros, without scripts IN TIME on a new chr for Springfestival...I did it WITHOUT macros even, and without any scripting.. was even offered scripts to figure out to learn to win and turned em down period, so to this day ... I am still very proud of my lil MoonglowFestival chr. my only puny tribute to doing it the honest way and just spending the rl TIME to get the skills IN TIME..without scripts or macros even.

Even I keep a sash or two made by that chr. and she is still *active* and lives in my Wynd's Zento house or QZ's home. But yeh, I made her from scratch utter no skilled newbie, and had to GM tailoring IN TIME for that very first springfestival back in 2003/4 whenever it was like some mad race against time and wow I made it ON TIME in time ahead of many no macros no scripts but I don't think I had a life ..just spent hours working up tailoring on her despite having 2 gm tailors on other chrs. but their names were not *festival* names so made the newbie back then just for the festival tailoring IF only I could gm tailoring ontime in time...so I worked tailoring like mad almost 24.7 ... till that skill got gm'd without scripts etc. and got it done.. since it was a race. Guess that is why her mark is even special to me, just one lone voice out there on many a shard with chrs. in same contest since that first one was multisharded springfestivaling same time frame...and did it without scripting just my way to say............HONESTY can work just takes more TIME so what tis just time, I got time prefer to remain honest even in a race.

Of course I think I DO confuse folks when they see my tailor repairs and it often is 3 names on my deeds..Queen Zen, Wynd Ryder and Moonglowfestival but they all me ! HAHA
