I cordially invite Everyone to come and attend the first of many fights to take place in the RLT Tournament Hall (Kijustsu Anei Village, PaxOku City). Take the moongate to Homare-Jima and follow the road east to the fourth building on the south side of the road.



There will be many surprises for those who attend, the least of which will be random door prizes!

This event was originally supposed to be held on the 13th of each month, but due to difficulties beyond my control it has been postponed, until Now!

The First fight will take place Jan. 3oth @ 6pm Eastern, in the RLT Tournament Hall (Kijustsu Anei Village, PaxOku City) Pictured here:





Here are the rules for anyone interested in submitting a fighter:

Current Rules (01/23/08)

Melee Fighters only (At the moment)

up to 110 Power Scrolls ok

up to +20 Stat Scrolls ok

GM Armor and Weapon provided for all fighters

No Lighting Strike

No Area Effect Spells

No Shape-Shifting

No Jewelry

No Arties

No Poison

No Potions

Enhanced bandages are allowable and I will attempt to provide them for those that need them.

Build your fighter with these rules in mind please.

All fighters must show their skills on the MYUO page [example] Kegan the Mad

All Fighters will be guilded to the CoS pit-fighter guild, or they can Ally, or War the CoS pit-fighter guild

The Fights will be Single elimination matches, the winner moves on to the next round, overall winner that night gets 130,000 gold

Each Fighter receives 10 points for the first fight of the night (basically show-up to fight and you get 10 points), for each fight they WIN they will get an additional 5 points.

Overall points will be tracked and posted month to month. There will be 10 fights, Jan 13th-Oct 13th. The top TWO Champions after Oct 13th will fight for the title of Grand Champion! on Nov 13th and a purse of (at least) 1.3 million gold.

For this first fight the points system will be suspended as it is last minute, hopefully there will be people who would be interested in submitting a fighter, to represent their guild, player-run city or simply for the challenge and I'd like to give them time to build a champion

However, I may be called out of town this week, awaiting word on a family issue. If I cannot be there I would still like to enter him in the competition. I will pm you with details.

My legendary smith/tailor would be happy to make armor and weapons for all participants. Is your intent for everyone to use the same type of gear? I have plenty of raw materials if that is your plan.

Aye, the intent is for the fighters to all have armor and that the armor has the least impact possible on their abilities & skills.
