Earlier tonight at the Skara Brae Community Center, Octoberfest host Xotche of Meade led a successful planning meeting for the fall shardwide festival, which is now scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 23rd from 7-11pm ET in the city of YEW!
Topics of discussion tonight included:
-home and garden contest planning
-casino event
-mock war near Yew mill
-drunken barrel race
-haunted house
-regatta
-archery contest
-cowtipping/bunny bashing (something at the farms maybe?)
The Festival is still looking for volunteers to host/run events and for prize donations. To get involved see the thread on the Chesapeake Forum or stay tuned to the news to find out when the next planning meeting will be held!
