I have just returned to UO after a long break and I have to say I am absolutely lost when it comes to loot. I am having trouble deciding what to keep and what not to keep when I am out fighting. I am not looking to have a shop anywhere really but I don't want to miss out on something good by not picking it up.

Does anyone have a link to a site that shows what is good and what is junk? Does anyone have a minute to give me some ideas on what I should be looking for?

I usually keep things in the 95%. Some things are of course more useful than others. I like: Damage Increase, Defense Chance Increase, Dex Bonus, Faster Cast Recovery, Faster Casting , Hit Magic Arrow (kidding), Lower Mana Cost,, Lower Reagent Cost, Luck, Mana Regeneration, Spell Damage INcrease - you can probably tell that I play a mage mostly.

What is your primary skill set? Maybe someone can give you some idea as to what to keep an eye out for.

The character I am playing is a bard/tamer. So I have been mostly just collecting mage armor with luck and lower regeant cost. I was thinking about starting something new though to learn the game again.

It's like riding a bike. I just returned last month after a long hiatus. I must say, I am enjoying playing a game that is so open & diverse.
