lol, i'd laugh but i've had two of my chars get doubles. One changed not only the persons name, but made sure the outfit and even titles and profiles would match.

Actually kind of skeery what some ppl do! *shudders*

(I've had a couple Absynthe impersonator's Sin, but it was for roleplay reasons.. not a stalker! I would be so creeped out! Hell, changelings creep me out.)

I knew I had made it as a GM smith back in the old days (1998) when a scammer made a character named Katherine and bought/stole/looted a GM-marked gorget I had made and tried to use it as proof that she was me. She was standing at the Britain forge trying to scam people with repairs. Fortunately, a lot of my fellow smith friends figured out she was a fake really quickly and warned people that she was a scammer. The player freaked out when I showed up shortly afterward, especially since my title showed on my paperdoll. It was good for a laugh once I found out no one had been scammed. I think that was the only time it happened; at least I hope it was the only time.
