The Tournament of Champions

Date time and location for event: the event will begin on March 17th at 10:00pm est. in Chesapeake shard Paxlair felucca. All armor is gm to make it fair and also if raided the cost is small for all contestants it is not advised to have them insured as this will forfeit gold encouraging the raid further also further note that great bracelets and rings should not be worn. This is for your protection you will be in felucca and subject to red invaders though we hope that they will leave us in peace and maybe participate in the events. All are welcome to join.

General rules:
1. All weapons shields spell books and armor will be gm made no runic or enhanced items.
2. All knights will have the following: signet colors-this is a 2 color combination that represents you. A servant-this is your personal helper they where your colors and help with your tasks but not your event!!! A caller- this person wears your colors and introduces you in a flamboyant manor.
3. No robes your armor and weapons will be inspected through out the events.
4. All knights must sign in at the sign in tables and in the books of the events which they will be participating in.
5. ALL WINS ARE FINAL IF YOU DISCONNECT OR LOSE IT COUNTS!! ALSO IF YOU QUIT YOU WILL BE CONSIDERED AS FORFIT AND WILL NOT CONTINUE IN THAT EVENT.
6. IF CAUGHT CHEATING YOU WILL BE REMOVED FROM ALL EVENTS AND CONSIDERED FORFEIT.
7. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THESE RULES.
First event is: Mounted jousting- riders will make one pass at a time making one hit.
Rules:
1. Only NORMAL horses allowed no ethereal or other mounts.
2. Luna lances will be allowed for those without fencing skill.
3. No specials or other spells allowed
Point System:
1. Most damage on each pass gains 1pt
2. Any damage above 20 gains 2 pts
3. The first to 10pts wins
The second event is the swords arena: each knight will enter the arena as introduced by caller then upon the sound of go they will begin to fight.
Rules:
1. Only melee weapons allowed NO BOWS
2. No spells allowed of any kind specials are allowed
3. No Mounts on foot only
Point system:
1. Single elimination: the kill gets the win.
The third event is The Mage Battle: two mages will fight with only their skill in the arts of magic.
Rules:
1. Only Magery, Necro and spell weaving No other skills abilities or spells to include chiv.
2. Mages will remain in there perspective areas and will not leave them.
3. Mages will wait till wall falls before beginning battle
4. NO WEAPONS OR SHEILDS ALLOWED THIS IS NOT A HAND TO HAND BATTLE IT IS A MAGE BATTLE.
Point system:
1. Single elimination: the kill gets the win
The forth event is The Archery Contest.
Rules:
1. All rules covered in the general rules section.
Point system:
1. Each knight will receive 5 shots at target
2. other then bulls eye 5pts
3. a bulls eye earns 10pts
4. highest points wins
The last event is The Tamers Battle: tamers will fight their pets against other pets.
Rules:
1. Each tamer gets 1 pet only
2. tamers will sign both their name and their pets name to the book
3. No changing pets name after sign in if this happens you will be disqualified and considered forfeit.
4. NO ASSISTING YOUR PETS IN ANY WAY AT ALL!!!!!!
Points:
1. Single elimination the kill gets the win


Note: this is a free event there will be prizes in the form of chests and books as there will be limited funds. You may also submit events to me via ICQ at 224807084 or E-Mail at uokod@hotmail.com your submission should have the following: name of event, rules for event and a point system for the event. Also this is an event of skill not how good your armor is. If you win you will have 2 weeks of gloating till you have to defend your title. Have fun and good luck to all.
