Please come and join us this Friday, the 20th, at 10 PM eastern as the 13th Legion breaks in it's new in-house archery range, located on the roof of the guild-house.

There will be 3 elimination rounds of 5 shots each and then a championship round!

No limitations on gear.

The event will be hosted by Deadshot

Prizes
1st place: A check for 100,000

2nd place: A check for 50,000

3rd place: A check for 25,000

Runes will be locked down (hopefully), In SilverVale and at Lady Malia's House Covetous (just South of Cove's gate), and I will drop runes at Zento's bank the day of the event.

Update

One of the few drawbacks to being based on a Island in the middle of no where is getting people there for events

There is a rune for the archery match looked down on the front steps of Darth Oni's Wonderous house in Silvervale, and there is also a rune locked down on the front of Lady Malia's House Covetous (right under the wind chimes), located just South of Cove's gate.

I will be dropping runes at Zento's, Skara's and maybe New Haven's bank as soon as I get off work, most likely around 9:30.

Also the new archery buttes do not recognize ML bows, just tlike to original ones in the cities. Bows will be available but they are plain jane ones looted from monsters.

I was real happy with the turn-out for the competition. I got to meet some really nice people I hadn't met before, hang-out with some of my old archery rivals , and watch some Great shooting!

Results

It started with the contestents each taking 5 shots, followed by another round of 5 shots. The scores were added up and the 6 with the highest scores moved on to the next round. Another 5 shots and the 3 highest scorers moved on. The last round was for the championship placement, 5 more shots and:

FrUiT LoOp walked away with 1st place

Angel took 2nd place

& Da'Oni closed out he Top 3, taking 3rd place





We were also lucky enough to have Abby helping out with some of her special refreshments (I still haven't fully recovered), and she showed a few of us how to play the dice game hi-low after the competiton was over.
