Ricardo Found Guilty...

The trial of Ricardo the thief is over, his verdict guilty. A bizarre twist of events unfolded this night, as the known thief Ricardo was found guilty of treason and was sentenced to death by a Magistrate appointed by the Court of Truth.

The defense was led by Advocate Beauregard, while the Prosecution was led by Advocate Casca of Heartwood. The court was presided over by Justice Verina of Yew.

Opening statements where led by the prosecution and followed by those of the defense. Three witnesses where called forth by advocate Casca: Hudson the Fisherman, Nocholas the Merchant and Francesco the Royal Treasurer. They gave their testimonies which included an account of the Ophidian invasion of Papua, the fencing of the crown that Ricardo stole, and the statement by the Royal Council of Britania that the defendant had committed high treason. At this point the advocate for the defense appeared to be getting drunk.

Then with a poof of smoke and an explosion of fire, Inu the Crone appeared in the court. After dancing around the guards and upon a table, she let out a dire warning of laying judgment upon Ricardo, then was escorted out of the courtroom.

The advocate of the defense then began to stumble about and was noticeably intoxicated. After advocate Beauregard was escorted out of the courtroom, Ricardo demanded to be allowed to defend himself. After a stirring speech,

and closing arguments by both the prosecution and the defendant, the jury convened to make there decision.

There verdict, guilty of treason.

The Justice then sentenced Ricardo to execution, and the court was convened.

Although I do find it odd how "Execution" is a punishment, people die all the time and get resurrected

What was failed to be mentioned was along with his execution, his corpse will be left unsecured so anyone can loot his stuff.
