![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hunt Nite Hangover - May 19, 2006 Our Hunt Nite this week began at 7:00 p.m. with a group meeting at Yew gate to obtain keys for our adventures for the evening. A HUGE thanks to Iza and Kimble for spending HOURS in the Citadel getting keys. The gods of Sosaria were stingy with the keys this eve and it was no easy task. A big, big thanks as well to Sybil, Stormhawke, Mea, Barefoot Princess, Kael, Logan, Masume and Alyssa for their help in Twisted Weald with the keys for Dreadhorn. I swear you would think as annoying as Irk is, she'd have a brain a little more often! Around 8:00 the hunters gathered at the Yew gate and split into two groups. One headed to Citadel and one to Dreadhorn. The Dreadhorn group gathered at the wall for a massive group hug and some quality togetherness time. ![]() They were quickly teleported over to face Dreadhorn who was, seriously, NO match for this group! ![]() Meanwhile, the Citadel group obtained the final key they needed fairly quickly and waited on another party to finish fighting Travesty. Once Dreadhorn was defeated, the group gathered back at Yew gate to rest for a few minutes before heading in for their adventures with Travesty. ![]() Once the first Citadel group engaged Travesty, the second group headed over to Citadel with the mission of obtaining one blue key which was the last key needed for their chance at the Changeling. Once again, the gods were stingy with keys and it took several rounds before a blue key was finally obtained. Thanks to Des for for soloing the blue key room several times in an attempt to gain the key. We sent down reinforcements to help her out but it still took several rounds before we obtained our prize. ![]() Meanwhile, the first Citadel group quickly finished their round of Travesty and headed over to see what they could do with Dreadhorn. Once again, Dreadhorn probably wished he'd just stayed home tonite as this group finished him off with time left on the last key! Upon obtaining the blue key, Iza dropped the keys for us and we were off to face Travesty. It was quite a sight to behold. LOL ![]() After making mince meat of Dreadhorn and while we were battling Miss Travesty, a group headed over to Bedlam to start working on the tattered thesis notes. When we completed Travesty, our group headed in to join them and wreak havoc on the denziens of Bedlam. ![]() Thanks to some wonderful teamwork the notes were gathered, the parties set and we were off to yet another Peerless. Grizzle, as with his fellow Peerless, didn't stand a chance, although he got some pretty good pot shots in on our armor. [blush] ![]() To our party leaders for the evening, Sybil, Mea, Kael, and Vrael, thank you so much for your hard work. You guys did a GREAT job! And, as I said before, a huge shout out to our key gatherers for helping so we could spend our time playing! To our newcomers last nite, as well as our veterans, I hope you had a good time. I know we had several who had either never done a Peerless before or had only done Lady Melisande so I'm excited that you got a chance to see the others. I wasn't sure we'd have the time to complete all three but, as always, you guys displayed the true teamwork that makes these Hunt Nites work so well. To everyone, thanks for coming and joining us and I hope to see you all again next week for another exciting adventure. Until then, be safe and HAVE FUN!
