Our Hunt Nite began at Yew Gate with a group hug!



Once everyone was well acquainted, the plans for the evening were laid out. We would be paying a visit to the Champ Spawn at Valor to kick off the festivities. But of course, there was a twist!

Our hunters would not only be hunting Dragons and their kind, they would also be hunting BAGS. Not just any bags mind you. Thanks to the hunting efforts of Order of the Shield (O*S) these bags would each contain checks! Most of the checks would be for 5K or 10K but at some point in the adventure, a bag would drop containing a check for 50K for the person lucky enough to spot it.

Once the shout was given to CHAAAAAAAAAAARGE!!!!! the race was on! Our brave hunters quickly met their foe at Valor.



Although the dragons threw all manner of obtacles in the way (including several THOUSAND trees that yours truly ran into), the group kept a close eye on the altar.



And they coordinated their attacks well.



At last the champ appeared bringing along a paragon dragon to save him! [shocked] But this too, proved no match for our seasoned fighters.



Congratulations go out to Gill for finding the one bag containing the 50K check. We hope you enjoy it. And congratulations to all the others who found checks this evening. Perhaps it will help defray the insurance costs a bit! LOL

Once the dragons were soundly defeated, our group set off to test their nerve against the sneaky rat men at Humility.



As before, the fight was quickly engaged.



Someone was even nice enough to build a huge bonfire! Alas, no one had any marshmallows to roast.



After Baracoon was soundly defeated at Humility, he then set up camp at Valor and was trounced yet again! Some people just never learn. Of course, he tried to convert several of our friends to his dark side but we were able to finally pull them back to their humanity. *whew*



Thank you to everyone who came out tonite to play. We had several first timers as well as some old friends. It was wonderful seeing everyone and, once again, you proved how wonderful you all are.
