Quest 3: The Straight and the Narrow... - This Quest is directed to the Core of the TormTar. - This Quest will temper his new skills with wisdom. - It is a Journey... and a Destiny. And it goes like this... - The FaithBlade learns the Code. Code of ChivalryLoyalty: Faithfulness, allegiance, and commitment to the people, ideals, and values that dictate the way in which a knight lives his life. Loyalty can never be compromised for any reason. Courage: A strong quality of mind that enables a knight to face danger with great confidence and resolution. However, a knight must also seek wisdom so as to understand that being overly brave can lead to stupidity. Justice: Maintaining a moral principle of right over wrong. A knight should always seek the direction of truth while always remembering to practice "justice tempered with mercy." Prowess: To always move in the direction of excellence. Knights must always perform every action with total effort in the quest for superiority in strength and mind. Faith: A return to loyalty and a strong sense of values and beliefs. Faith creates hope against despair that can be caused by human emotions. Nobility: A Knight must always build strong character through faith, loyalty, and integrity. Age, by means of wisdom and experience, ennobles the mind and character. Generosity: Always willing to give of one's self what one can afford. The opposite of selfishness, generosity allows for a better understanding of the concept "justice tempered with mercy." Humility: While striving for perfection and superiority, a knight, must first value the contributions of others and not boast of personal accomplishment. A knight is almost always one of many and must remain loyal with and aid his brothers in arms. - The FaithBlade will then visit Trinsic and spend some time learning more about the "Old Ways". Some TormTars found out that spending a few months serving the Empire would bring great knowledge. - The FaithBlade will then travel to New Haven where he will explore and learn its secrets(quests) and the town villagers... so he can provide guidance if that is requested. - To become a Warden the TormTar should be able to defeat all EVIL in the Island. - The TormTar must be a grand master... - Once the TormTar has both martial prowess and inner wisdom he should travel to any Ilshenar Gypsy Camp... and find out more about himself... and learn which virtue will guide him... Now you know where that Voice that beckons you to the Darkside comes from... up to you to control it and keep it quiet... never forgetting it is always there... in a dark corner of your Soul... waiting to take over. ** Half the journey is now complete, the TormTar/Manticore is skilled and aware... the rest of the journey is a slow walk towards inner knowledge ** Enforcer to Guardian: (socialize...) #6- The Shinning Force - Win a Tournament/Event. Final Note: Regarding leadership... we follow a system called Meritocracy... some know how to hunt, some know how to fight... and depending on the context we'll have different field leaders... usually the most experienced paladin takes over... last time Caliver led us to a great victory versus the pirates... his tactics and previous training made us win the day... Stay Vigilant... ![]() ![]() "There's always a plan, even when there is no plan...!" |
