Ok EA, I really need something explained to me....I don't want to just be told...I want it explained and proven.

What is so awful about this game as it is?? I am really sorry but I just don't see a need to institute this kind of crap into a slightly flawed but excellent game.

Does anyone have any idea what bulk supply prices will rise to if this doesn't get defeated? Hell I am tempted to start buying up and hording supplies...when the price jumps I could retire from reporting and just make "indecent proposals" to classy ladies!

I hear people scream about scripters this and scripters that....I have been around this game since AOS. Ingot prices are exactly what they were then, same with hides, cloth, arrows, regular wood...etc.

I can't compare coloured wood because obviously it didn't exist.
I don't L-Jack so I am sorry if someone keeps taking all the good " your favourite wood here" spots.

If scripters are ruining the uo economy how come the prices didn't change in practically 4 years of real life time.

Did some people cheat and make lots of cash....possibly, hell I will even say definately! Do I care??? Hell no, cause what someone else has in their bank account doesn't bother me. The only thing that bothers me is what I have in my bank account.

Now 4 years ago gold cost about 10-12 USD per mill. Now it is about 10% of that. But unless you are trying to sell gold for dollars...this has minimal effect on game play! I don't sell gold to get USD...I occasionally have spent USD to get gold...so I can't say I am upset about the drop in prices.

If you are a gold broker you are more than likely someone that scripts...so such is life I guess.

Now admittedly I don't pvp....I find it silly. I understand that cheaters have damaged pvp. So lets find a solution to that problem. Put full time GM's in Fel. Make them patrol champ spawns and PVP areas each evening ( like cops patrol high crime areas)
I think one GM can handle all the "I lost my beetle"...or " my squirrel ran up a tree" complaints in the rest of the lands.

We could streamline the GM page system into two categories....Cheat issue and non cheat issues.
Let the people know if this is a non cheat issue...your complaint will be logged and someone will get back to you in upto 1-3 days via email.

Let's face it...if it is a non cheat issue what is the emergency....if you haven't figured out that, "they won't get you back your uber weapon that you just lost to a bug", by now...then you are too dense to be playing this game anyway.

I am sorry I love this game...i really do...and I don't think it sucks or has been ruined. I see lots of people each night laughing and playing and having a great time.

Yes people love to scream and moan about scripters. In game it is scripters...in real life it is the other crooks, our politicians we love to moan about.

I think it was Kennedy (or maybe Nixon) that said "drastic times require drastic measures." Who ever it was that said it they were correct.

But this is NOT a drastic time in UO

EA do what you feel you must, write a program....increase GM's... change some rules. But don't kill this game....I fear the road we are going down leads to just one place....an online subscription to some other game!
