Catskills Hunt Nite for May 19th
OK, since it's late, I'm gonna make this short. I'll post more details tomorrow.
This week we are going to do some PEERLESS!!!!! If you haven't already done so, please make sure to complete the Bedlam quest up to the part where you talk to Aernya the second time. Complete details can be found here: http://www.uostuff.com/ow.asp?Bedlam Also, make sure to talk to Sakkari the Notary outside Brit Castle and get either the Black Order Badges Quest or the Evidence Quest for access to the Citadel. Complete details for that can be found here: http://www.uostuff.com/ow.asp?TheCitadel Finally, if you haven't already done so, you will also need to talk to Lorekeeper Calendor in Heartwood and get the Dreadhorn Quest. Complete details for that one are found here: http://www.uostuff.com/ow.asp?TwistedWeald I'll post the plans tomorrow and some strategy info. For those of you who have never done a peerless, think of this as Peerless 101. [grin] See you all Friday at Yew Gate, Trammel at 8:00 p.m. Eastern, ready to rock at 8:30 p.m. ![]() ![]() |

Re: Catskills Hunt Nite for May 19th
For our Friday Nite this week, my HOPE is that we can get a few of the keys ahead of time. If anyone is available to help with the keys or interested in learning how to get the keys, meet me at Yew gate at 7:00 p.m. and we can split into groups there to gather some keys. The keys to Dreadhorn and Travesty can be gathered ahead of time. The keys to Bedlam have too short a duration on them to be able to hold them ahead of time.
A couple things I'll tell you about key gathering. There are two places where you have to be VERY careful due to the spawn trigger points. One is in Twisted Weald. You want to make sure NOT to walk on the green water. The green water spawns spiders. Trust me, there is enough spawn in Twisted without adding to it! LOL The second place is in the Citadel. The Citadel is filled with trigger spots. One of the most deadly is the path to the red key room. The more you run through the halls, the more spawn you generate to the point it can be completely out of control. I would really ask that only those familiar with the red key go after that one just due to the insane amount of spawn and the death traps that await. One favor I'd like to ask, if you are available for helping with keys, can you post here or PM me so I can get an idea of how many we'll have and what kind of time frame we are looking at. Whatever keys we don't have by 8:00 p.m., we'll continue to work on after the group gathers. Also, if you can volunteer to lead a party/drop the keys, can you let me know? Thanks to Des we now have a Teamspeak server available for use on Friday nites. I can set up our main party leaders in it so we can keep in contact and judge who needs help where. My ideal goal would be send a group of 10 - 15 people to each of the Peerless. What this means is that not everyone may be able to do all three Peerless but we'll make a start this week and keep doing this over the next few weeks so that everyone gets a chance to face the different Peerless. However, I will also be throwing in some non Peerless events so that those who do not have ML can participate. [smile] Alright, suggestions? Questions? Comments? See you all Friday nite! ![]() ![]() |

Re: Catskills Hunt Nite for May 19th
OK, couple more tips for our new Peerless Junkies To Be.
For Bedlam, I would NOT advise taking a dexxer or probably even a tamer. Mages or Archers are probably the best bet and make sure your armor is at FULL repair. Grizzle (the Bedlam Peerless) throws out yellow goo that severely damages you and your armor. Trust me, you'll need repairs after finishing even if you are fully repaired going in. ![]() For Dreadhorn (the Twisted Weald Peerless) if you are a mage, get up a macro for Arch Cure. You will need it. Most any template works fine. Earth Eles work best as the summons for mages here. For Travesty (the Citadel Peerless), keep in mind that when she is almost redlined, she will teleport to another area of the room and spawn minions. It is VERY important that part of the group keep dealing damage to Travesty while working on the minions. If Travesty heals, she will pull the same trick again and again with the possibility of getting the room overrun with spawn. For all the peerless, you will be partied up to cross over to the fight. About halfway through or so, the party will drop so each person will get their own instanced corpse and their own loot. I do want to stress, especially for our new members this week, don't come counting on "Uber" loot. It DOES happen. We've had several luck out with a Crimson or some other nice prize but this is all about having fun, defeating the peerless and learning for those who have never done peerless. The most important point is to HAVE FUN! ![]() ![]() |

Always a joy and tons of fun. I'm sure the regulars from the MoA will be in attendance.
