Catskills Hunt Nite - Bedlam AND Blighted

The two for one nite worked out pretty well last week so I think we'll try it again this week. Since we've only done Bedlam once I thought maybe we'd go back there (but NOT to the champ spawn). LOL

In case anyone doesn't know (or forgot), you need a quest to get into Bedlam the first time. Once you've gotten the quest, you are good for entrance from then on. If you need details about the quest, you can find lots of GOOD info over here http://www.uostuff.com/ow.asp?Aernya...ssOfAdmissions . Remember, you only need to complete up to step 3 (talking to Aernya again) in order to get into Bedlam. Bedlam consists of undead so any undead slayers would be a good idea.

We will also do Melisande so anyone who can complete the Frightened Dryad quest prior to Friday nite, that would be a bonus. I'll bring along bone machetes (thanks Kettlewhistle for the bones) and anyone else who is able to provide a few, it would be welcome.

Let me explain how we'll do this and please please help me spread the word to any friends or guildmates that are coming along and might not read this. It's kind of hectic trying to explain at Yew gate while trying to group everyone up. We will gather at Yew gate, Trammel at 8:00 p.m. Eastern and split into two groups again. Once the groups are split, we will form parties and, once partied, we will roll dice to decide who goes where first (high roller goes to Bedlam first). We will plan to head in to our respective hunting grounds at 8:30 sharp. Once we have finished the peerless, we will switch.

I'll post more information on the exact strategy/tips either this afternoon or tomorrow (depending on how crazy work is).

If you really need me to lead a group im all in, however the fact that its only wednesday and im so tired i can barely type this, doesnt leave much hope for my state of mind friday night...heh.

Alrighty, couple more things to know for Bedlam. In order to get to the Monstrous Interred Grizzle, we need to gather FIVE tattered thesis notes. These are loot on the corpses. As near as I remember, they fall mostly on the named skeletons (Jennyfer, etc). Once the notes are gathered, they must be given to Master Cohenn the Librarian who then gives us a Librarian's Key. This key must be dropped on the key table inside the little building just to the left of the building Gnosos is in.

Now, here's the important part so please help me spread the word. Once we have the thesis notes, one party leader will go talk to Cohenn and get the keys, etc. EVERYONE ELSE needs to exit the dungeon and group at the Bloodletters just outside the entrance. Please Please Please, pay attention to party chat and help make sure everyone is out. We do NOT want anyone getting left behind.

Once we are gathered, we will activate the keys from there. Luckily with Grizzle, we don't have to be IN the dungeon to activate and cross. Once inside with Grizzle, be VERY careful to get upstairs. There is another of those nasty teleport out hidden spots in this room and if you step on it and get booted, you cannot get back in. We will need to get Grizzle upstairs and work on him from there.

Also, everyone remember we will be doing this in two groups like we did last week. One group will be doing Melisande while the other group does Grizzle and then we'll switch. As I said in my earlier post, once the groups are formed, we will roll dice to see who goes where first.

O, one other thing, we will go ahead and distribute bone machetes at Yew Gate when we meet. Please make sure to insure it! Hopefully, though, this will save us some time as the evening goes along.

OK, that's all I can think of til I have more coffee......... See you all tomorrow nite!

And Eppie, I want you along honey but it's completely up to you and how you feel! YOU are the what's most important.
