Picture it in your mind, a far off island, gentle breezes, the ocean lapping gently on the shore, the sound of birds flitting thru the trees, wild flowers growing in abundance, peace and serenity abounds. Well, at least until WE show up!

This week we will be embarking on an island adventure. We will be visiting one of the islands in Sosaria where we will dig up a minimum of FOUR level six treasure maps. Big deal you say? Ancient Wyrms and Balrons don't scare me you say? I do level six maps before breakfast all the time you say? But wait! There's more! Did I mention the maps will all be dug up at the SAME TIME?!?!?

That's right, our courageous group of diggers will be digging multiple level six chests all at once. TW has been busily decoding maps to find us a group in the same location. We will meet up at Tram Yew Gate and head to our island destination at 8:30. Upon arrival, our diggers will begin digging. What happens next should be "interesting" (to say the least).

After the initial spawn is dealt with, the diggers will pop open the chests and everyone is free to loot. The faster you loot, the more spawn that is likely to be generated. We will try to set up a spot for rezzes that is clear of the dig area. The tentative plan is for four locations close together, although we may add a fifth in the same location.

Once a chest is emptied and collapsed, we are going to try to do it all over again (provided there's anyone left standing). Also, if anyone has any level six maps on Ocarina Island, would you consider trading me that for level six at another spot?

Some additional information for tonite's hunt. It now appears that we have enough maps and diggers to pop SIX level six chest at once! IF we get the other three maps we need, we may be able to do this twice.

We will meet at Yew Gate as always and will try to evenly distribute the parties with our diggers. You MUST be partied with a digger in order to loot the chest. Chest guardians however are a free for all! Eat or be eaten!

Once we are all partied, our diggers will recall to their respective locations. Since all spots are on Ocarina, I will gate everyone else over to the island. We will then fan out and the fun will begin. LOL Remember who your digger is. Once the chests are opened, the diggers will remove the martie and give the all clear and you are free to loot the chest and spawn as much additional madness as you can. The diggers will also be "knocking" the chest to help draw more spawn.

At the end of the hunt tonite, several of the marties will be awarded. Keep your death robes. Marties will be awarded based on death robe count and dice rolls (highest and lowest rolls). Any marties NOT awarded tonite will be used for prizes at later events.

Just as a backup plan, since there are no wandering healers on Ocarina that I could find, I am going to take Shadow Walker over early and log her out at the NorthEast tip of the island. Since she can do Noble Sacrifice and is on a separate account from Anne, if we get too many ghosts wandering around, I'll log her in there and get as many rezzed as possible at one time. That shouldn't be a problem but better safe than sorry.

Well if Anne would get in contact with me, I have a few maps for her.

Nope, Anne is still at work. BLAH. Not supposed to even be on the board now so "shhhhhh". I'll be home around 5:30 or 6:00.

Last night was lots of fun. I think I had the most deaths on my digger, but took myself out of the competition. Next time we need to find a smaller island :grin:
