For this week's hunt nite, you are going to be hunting that most fearsome creature of all - HUMANS! That's right, come test your knowledge of Sosaria and find our hidden friends.

Our race will begin at Yew Gate - Trammel at 8:30 sharp. Books will be given out with your first clue to your first location along with a rune to a rune library. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be to find the person at our secret location. Upon finding them, you will receive your next clue and so on. The first person or team to find all locations and return with a complete set of clue books, wins.

Our clue holders will be all over the UO world from Trammel to Ish to Malas to Takuno. They will be in plain site and easily spotted but you will have to use the clues to find them. Some places can be recalled to, some you will have to journey from a gate. Some places will be completely safe to get to and some will be a little more dangerous. However, I can promise you it WON'T be anywhere like Terra Keep! LOL

Along the way there will be at least one "detour" or bonus location. At this location, a special prize goodie bag/box will be placed. First person to find this location, claims the prize. The prize will be in plain sight but the location will be a little tricky. If you find the location and there is no prize, you'll know someone beat you to it.

I will post more details (number of locations, etc) later. A couple of things I want to throw out there though. First, you are more than welcome to team up. However, teams will be limited to two people per team. Second, there will be a time limit of two hours max (this could change to a shorter time depending). I'd like to ask everyone to meet back up at Yew gate at the end where the winner will be announced. As always, the prizes will be FUN or special mementos but not expensive. Just something to always remember the nite by.

At the end of our "Amazing Race", we will hit up a champ spawn in Ish to complete our nite for anyone that wants to blow off a little steam from all that thinking! The exact spawn will be announced later.

Now, since this whole thing hinges on a lot of help (and imagination), there is the possibility that real life will rear it's ugly head and we come up short. IF that happens, we will go with a backup plan which I promise will be fun and we'll postpone the Race til another week.

OK, some final details for tonite's event. The first rule, you have to have FUN. LOL

The people you will be looking for tonite (in order) are:

If this changes for any reason, I'll announce that at the gate when we meet up. Everyone will be provided with a rune to the Travel Lodge Rune Library to assist them in getting to the various locations.

In addition, once the race starts keep an eye out for Penelope and Anne Nomilly (ME). We could be at any location with any other player and offer you a "Detour". The Detours are extra locations where a prize is located. If you are the first one to find it, you claim the prize. If you arrive and do not see a prize, you'll know someone beat you to it. Detours are optional. Also, even if you accept the Detour, you can still finish the race so be sure to get your next clue from the person named above. At the end of the race, I will check the detour locations and retrieve the prizes if no one has found them by then. This way, everyone has the same chance.

In order to make sure that we are giving the clues to the racers and not to random people by accident, I'm going to ask that each racer, upon arrival, approach their next clue giver and request the next clue by simply saying, "Next Clue Please". This will be the "code phrase" of the evening and it's very important that you say it exactly (that's why I made it short). Can't you just see some poor bewildered hunter enjoying his solitude and someone runs up and hands him a riddle book? Could be bad. *grin* If the spot you arrive at is a Detour clue location as well, after you have requested your clue, you will be offered the Detour.

As stated before, you will have two hours to complete the race. First person to find Kuro and present him with all SEVEN clue books, wins. We will meet back at Yew Gate, Trammel at the end of two hours. The exact time will be announced at the gate. After the race, we will celebrate by killing stuff at one of the champ spawns in Ilshenar for anyone who's interested.

Finally, these spots range all over the UO world (it IS the Amazing Race after all). I will give you ONE hint. Remember that ONE of the spots may be in Fel if you don't find what you are seeking in Tram. We've tried to make all the spots as safe but as challenging as possible. Some are VERY easy. Some require you to definitely THINK. Each clue giver location is safe but getting to them may require a bit of a battle or cunning or just flat out RUNNING.
