Re: XP or Vista? Hmm

I Can't stand Office's ribbons feature, yuck.
I much preferred the old, simpler system.

Re: XP or Vista? Hmm

I downloaded a trial of Office 2007 and am contemplating on buying it. It is really PRETTY but at the same time the interface is a little bit harder then I am used to. For instance, in excel to draw tables... I can't just find the pencil tool and eraser if I want to add or take out a few lines. Instead I have to right click and format each cell. ... I know I must be missing something with all the buttons!!!

Re: XP or Vista? Hmm

If any of you chaps remember the transition from 98 to XP it was all the same. Most of the problems aren't associated with Vista itself, but incombatible programs and device drivers. Which is quite funny, since all the software developers and device manufacturers have had a chance to test their products on Vista beta versions for almost a year now. Still some of them don't even have started working on the drivers until the launch (and after the angry customers have started calling in).
