umm heh Does figuring out what was wrong with my hot water tank and clothes dryer count? Ended up replacing the heating elements in both this year. No man around here to do these things for me.

Hey that counts for something! Good Game on figuring it out! I had to change my neighbors water heater this summer, cause she was afraid to go into the crawlspace/basement, cause of the spiders. That is one of the downsides of being a craftsman. Everyone calls you to fix their stuff. hehe..

Things women do NOT understand? Men, when it comes to something technical or mechanical. I understand it needs to be fixed, I understand that you know how to fix it... I don't understand why it requires four other men to stand around and "supervise" tho.

Well, we are all groundmen and safetymen for the workers!! We gotta make sure that whatever is getting done, is getting done by someone else but, well not you! hehe..

Funniest thing I saw in my career. While I was in Japan, there was a grounds crew replacing a handicapped post in a parking spot, well there was 1 guy digging and doing the work. The other 13 were there just to watch. I went up to em and said, why does it take 14 guys to dig a hole, but just 1 working. they all said in unison "we are supervising". Classic
