ABOUT 3 A.M. ONE VERY COLD MORNING IN MARCH 2004, A STATE POLICE OFFICER RESPONDED TO A CALL: THERE WAS A CAR OFF THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF CASPER. HE LOCATED THE CAR, STUCK IN DEEP SNOW AND WITH THE ENGINE STILL RUNNING.

PULLING IN BEHIND THE CAR WITH HIS EMERGENCY LIGHTS ON, THE OFFICER WALKED TO THE DRIVER'S DOOR TO FIND AN OLDER MAN PASSED OUT BEHIND THE WHEEL WITH A NEARLY EMPTY VODKA BOTTLE ON THE SEAT BESIDE HIM.

THE DRIVER CAME AWAKE WHEN THE OFFICER TAPPED ON THE WINDOW. SEEING THE ROTATING LIGHTS IN HIS REAR VIEW MIRROR AND THE STATE POLICEMAN STANDING NEXT TO HIS CAR, THE MAN PANICKED, JERKED THE GEARSHIFT INTO "DRIVE" AND HIT THE GAS. THE CAR'S SPEEDOMETER WAS SHOWING 20-30-40 AND THEN 50 MPH, BUT IT WAS STILL STUCK IN THE SNOW, WHEELS SPINNING.

THE POLICEMAN, HAVING A SENSE OF HUMOR, BEGAN RUNNING IN PLACE NEXT TO THE SPEEDING, BUT STILL STATIONARY, CAR.

THE DRIVER WAS TOTALLY FREAKED THINKING THE OFFICER WAS ACTUALLY KEEPING UP WITH HIM.

THIS GOES ON FOR ABOUT 30 SECONDS WHEN THE PATROLMAN YELLED AT THE MAN ORDERING HIM TO "PULL OVER!" THE MAN OBEYED, TURNED HIS WHEEL AND STOPPED THE ENGINE.

NEEDLESS TO SAY, THE MAN FROM CASPER WAS ARRESTED AND IS PROBABLY STILL SHAKING HIS HEAD OVER THE STATE PATROLMAN WHO COULD RUN 50 MILES PER HOUR.

WHO SAYS POLICEMEN DON'T HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR?

Hahaha! That is great! That would be extreamly embressing but you know... I wouldn't need to drink to do something embressing like the driver did >_<

I am just natrally "out there" Though I would never speed off if an officer after me... I be WAY to paranoid of them trying to come and locate me later haha! That and why speed off? Just get into more trouble... that and me paranoid of driving in general. Got hit by a car once... the car didn't hurt it was the landing so I am scared to get behind the wheel or be near the road at all because of that haha!

That is a cool story, I will have to show my friends this one!

ROFL, that reminds me of a story that happen to me in Real life...

{The names have been changed in this story to protect those invaulved}

Ok, so this was about 7 years ago back when I was 16...roughly year 1999. Well some friends an I were going to go to a party and we had to go pick up one of our friends that had an early start on the "Party" aspect of things already.

Well we go to his house pull off to the side of the road in front of his yard and beeped the horn, he game out stoned out of mind already. Well he's normally "The Driver" of the group so he tells Bob to move, well Bob not realizing that Tom was stoned jumped in back. Now just to point out the car was in park and not running at this time, and Tom climbed into the driver seat and put his hands on the stearing while moving it back and forth slightly as if you would if you were trying to stay between the white and yellow lines on the road.

I was in the passenger seat mind you and noticed this, the car wasn't on...it was in park, and we weren't moving. So me being who I am looked at Bob, Mike, and Jack and just smiled and winked. I looked at Tom and said "Hey man maybe we should slow down, you're going like 45 and this is a 35 zone."

Tom replied "Man don't tell me how to drive I know what I'm doing" {Keep in mind the car is off and we're not going anywhere}

Me - "Man I'm serious, you need to slow down I think there's a cop right up here"

Tom - "Dude there's not a f**king pig just chill"

at this point I look back to the back seat and motion to make a big bounce on my cue. Then I go on to say...

"OH MY GOD DUDE WHAT OUT FOR THAT BIG A** LOG IN THE ROAD!!!!"

and all at the same time Bob, Mike, Jack, and I all bounce in the car at the same time making the car jump and I flung my door open and just fell out beside the car. I heard him stomp on the break yelling "OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD"

Mike "DUDE, HE TOLD YOU TO SLOW DOWN!!!!"

Tom: "OH MY GOD"

Jack: "OH SH*T he's still rolling down down the road and their's a car coming"

Tom: "OH MY GOD"

Bob: "HOLY F**K THE CAR JUST HIT HIM!!!!!"

Tom: "OM MY F**KING GOD HIS MOM IS GOING TO KILL ME!!!"

While all this is going on I'm crawling around the car over to the driver side and I jump at the window saying "YOU LET ME DIE!!!!!"

Tom screamed like a little girl and presisted to pee himself lol. He wasn't very amused at the time he figured out what was going on but he laughs about it now lol.

What is the lesson learned here?

1. Don't let your friends drive Drunk or Stoned.

2. If they do get in the driver seat and don't go anywhere but think they are driving....mess with them bad .

HAHA Oh man Tovladian! That is GREAT! Sounds like something I would attempt in doing but I am known as one of them "bad actors" so I could never pull it off but man you did! That is awesome! That is funny he never realize he was not going anywhere... good thing really sense he was so "out of it" and you proved it all in that story you shared with us.

Man that is damn funny!
