Wait... if you get hit in the head by something (like a bullet) hard enough to open the skull, break the innner membrane, and damage the actual brain itself to the point where it is falling apart and coming out, you would still have enough motor control and/or cognizant thought to hold your brain in place? I've seen people with severe head trauma and find that a bit hard to believe. Granted it would depend on where the actual damage is. The back of your head is close to the brain stem and lower brain tho. If your brain stem goes, you are seriously screwed. I can't remember exactly what the posterior lobes do at the moment, but I am sure I could find it.

As unbelievable as it sounds I really can't say whether it could be true or not. People never cease to surprise me anymore, when you think you've heard the most idiotic thing ever something and someone will always top it... incredible how evolution works eh?

Well I believe someone may have thought they got shot. Have you ever heard one of those biscuit tins explode? One day I left one on the counter and forgot it was there. After a while, it warmed up and exploded. Scared me to death! Raw biscuits were everywhere lol.

I think you are thinking of the Mythbusters episode where they did the tissue box on the back dash flying forward to hit you in the head. Unless there was an episode I missed, this is the only one dealing with that type of scenerio.
