whats the diff between maces and swords etc
i know maces used to deal stamina loss to the opponet, what do swords and fencing do?
also, do ppl use alot of the primary and secondary ablities? 25 mana seems alot for a melee, do they hit as much as a normal weapon attack would?
does it still use your mana on a miss?

Honestly, I dont see a difference anymore between the 3 weapon types, all 3 have similar type weapons of each level. The specials, you can all get from every weapon type, and they all have similar speed levels based on their type. Like a cleaver, skinning knife, spellblade, etc, all fast weaps. Katana and kryss, both 2s weaps.

So its pretty much a matter of what you want to use. Say you like to use mauls, and cant find a really good use best weapon one, so you build up macing, and hopefully find a decent cache of macing weaps, or UBWS.

Yes you still lose mana on a miss. Best thing to do is use mana leech weapons, this way next swing you hopefully get that mana back..

Ummm... I don't think you lose any mana on a miss? As in if you whiff at air with your sword, you won't apply the special move yet. It only gets applied and the mana spent when your swing connects with a target.

However if the hit is blocked via parry, the mana is still spent. And Double Strike is different since both hits are accounted for separately, so if you hit with one and miss the other, the mana is still spent.

Or maybe I just never miss so I haven't noticed this. Hehe :grin:
