Taming help here pls

I have ask a few people how to gain taming i have got 76.1 atm someone said great harts another gamans and another said polar bears and bulls so what should i tame?

Think I got jewels to 85+ and did gamens.

Been doing gamens ever since and now at 108.4 (no jewels)

I recommend going HERE. Put in your real skills, sort by taming and choose the 0 pretame chance radial button. Look down the list until you see something that has less then 100% success chance. Start there. I always try to tame something that is close to 100%. You can only get a skill gain check for a success. So the more you succeed the better you chance of gaining. I recommend not wearing taming jewelry for skill gain. No need to up your requirements just for gains. Also remember you have 100% chance of taming a creature you have "owned" so you can't get gains former pets. Recommend tame, release, kill and repeat.

Jewels will help with successful taming, thus gaining skill more frequently. I don't believe you gain with failed attempts.

You are right, at least at upper level skill. But, no matter the level, you have a shot of gaining lore until you reach your cap.

To get good gains using this calculator you need to choose a creature that is at 35-55% chance of success...Also, FYI...Lore plays a big part in taming and if your lore isn't up about where you taming is your chance of success will be lessened...GL on taming...
