Should I bother smithing anymore?

I just want to know if anyone out there has crafted anything half decent since the new publish and what type of hammer did they use? I am currently working on getting verite BODS but wondering if all the money I am spending would be better off on something else.

All I do with my smith is repair my own armor. I got thoroughly bored with BOD's a long time ago and gave them all away.

How do you use a BoD? I got a TON of them in my house in this bag and I do not know how they work... all I know is they are tradeskill thing and that is all.

The BoD says what items it needs, as in what the order is for. For instance, 20 exceptional iron broadswords.

So what you do is you obtain 20 exceptional iron broadswords, usually by crafting them yourself but nothing stops you from buying the items needed.

Double clicking the BoD opens up a screen where you can choose to add items to the deed, then you just click on the 20 swords you got and they get added into the deed until it's full, all 20 swords done. Then you can go drop the deed on a blacksmith NPC and they'll give you a reward.

And nope, I can't remember the last time my smith crafted anything useful. Then again I've never had a better hammer than bronze.
